"You may take a break now, Lady Hazel. Get some water and a bit of rest as there is still much to do."
Hazel sighed in relief, desperately in need of the small break granted to her. She would gladly go back to the days when her mother would have her sit to do her lessons rather than stay with the tutor she had now.
She was being tasked with sitting and having to take in years' worth of studying in one day. She was lucky that most of it she already knew.
Hazel stood to stretch her feet as the tutor looked over the answers to a test she had taken. Before she could enjoy the peace of not having the tutor repeat history about the palace, a knock was heard on the door.
Hazel watched as a maid rushed to answer it. She was not to have any guests during her lessons so she was curious to see who was bold to disturb her.
"Helena." Hazel's eyes widened at the sight of Helena standing at the opened door.
