Selena's POV
This morning I really wanted to enjoy the morning atmosphere around the city. I want to take a walk to enjoy the morning air in the park. Because I'm tired of having to see the view from the top of this apartment alone.
I came out of my room wearing jeans and a white jacket. My long black hair is intentionally in a ponytail. Because it's a little cold. So I left my thick hair out. I also added a small ribbon on my forehead. I put it to the right and left. It looked very cute when I looked in the mirror on the wall right next to the living room.
"Where are you going in the morning? You're so ready," Christian said sarcastically.
"I want to go out and enjoy the morning air in the garden," I replied casually.
"I'm coming," said Christian who now stood up from his seat. He even quickly finished the food in his hand.
"I wanted to be alone," I said with a grin.
"You'll get hurt if you're alone. There are many people here who know me. If I don't accompany you. They'll think I'm a husband who doesn't care about his wife," explained the sharp-nosed man.
"Yes, fine, whatever you say. But we don't need to make out too much," I said firmly while glaring at him.
"I won't," said Christian who was now walking ahead of me.
The morning in New York's Central Park is breathtakingly beautiful. The morning sun casts its soft rays, illuminating the sprawling green grass. Dewdrops glowed like jewels on the tips of each blade of grass, giving it a fresh and mesmerizing look. The serene atmosphere was filled with golden light, creating an uplifting landscape.
I breathed in the fresh air while closing my eyes. It felt so blissful. If we are good at being grateful. Even pleasures like this are worth it.
Along the sidewalks, crowds of happy people began to appear. Locals and tourists alike were enjoying this sunny morning. Some groups were engaged in physical activities, such as running or cycling, while others sat relaxing on the grassy areas, enjoying their morning breakfast. The sounds of laughter and light conversation fill the air, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere under the blue sky.
"I want to go for a run. Do you want to come?" asked Christian and I nodded immediately. Because I really like running in a big yard like this park.
We both ran. I was of course behind him but not too far. Every breath I hear is so encouraging. I ran even faster and passed Christian. My hair is all over the place and the morning air is so fresh. While the sun shines on my face. I love feeling the warmth of the morning sun.
"Hey! I'm going to win!" exclaimed the guy with the under cut hair. He ran behind me quickly. I tried to run faster but unfortunately he was a real runner. I chuckled at Justin who looked back at me.
I was sweating now. I really need mineral water. Unfortunately I didn't bring any. I sat on the metal chair while leaning back. Adjusting my breathing to be more calm.
I saw Christian running towards me. He smiled as if mocking me.
"You're so weak. I won," he said as he sat next to me.
He looked at me like he was watching me in detail.
"Are you thirsty? I'll buy you a drink. What would you like?" Christian asked.
I didn't expect him to have a good side.
"Alright, I'd like some orange juice," I said smiling sweetly.
"Alright, I'll buy it at the convenience store. You wait here," Christian said standing up.
"Uh, is that all? Don't you need something to snack on," Christian said with his thick eyebrows raised.
"Just buy me some chocolate," I said smiling enthusiastically.
"You little boy," he said teasingly. Now he's running a little and I smile at his back as he starts to walk away.
I looked around again. some street performers were starting to prepare for their performances, adding a creative touch to this sunny morning. Light music drifted from the corners of the park, creating a harmonious backdrop for a joyful morning in Central Park.
"Is your father here?"
"I went to your apartment and no one was there. I called you both and no one picked up," Dad said with an annoyed face.
"Yes, we both didn't have our cell phones with us. We just wanted to enjoy the morning in comfort," Christian said with a sweet smile as he put his arm around me.
"Sit over there," I said, pointing to a wooden chair and a nearby tree.
"I'd like to have a chat with you two," I said in a heavy voice. It seemed very difficult to speak because of his heavy breathing. Maybe it was his age.
We all sat on the comfortable garden chairs with the big tree providing shade. Dad's bodyguard stood behind us all at a distance of two meters.
"So have you planned when to have children? You two aren't delaying it, are you?" my father asked, startling me. But I tried to cover it up.
"Oh no dad, neither of us are delaying it," Christian said with a casual smile. We both smiled at each other.
"Because I also really want happiness between the two of us. A little baby will definitely make the atmosphere so happy," Christian said with a smile that looked so enthusiastic.
"I've bought you a special potion Christian," I said smiling sweetly at Christian.
"And for Selena. I've also bought you a special potion at an expensive price," I said, smiling sweetly at me.
"That potion will definitely make you two have children quickly," I said enthusiastically.
"But dad, you shouldn't bother. The two of us can definitely consult a doctor. We will do a pregnancy program," Christian said clearly.
"But from my friend's friend. The potion I bought is very effective. You two try it first, okay?" Dad said and we both had to nod because we didn't want to make Dad sad.
I looked around. It looked hot but the air was a little cool. Now I looked at the two of us again.
"Then you two enjoy this morning. I'm going home," Dad said with a sweet smile. He looked very happy from the look on his old face. He really looked radiant seeing me and Christian pretending to be intimate. I felt so guilty for lying to Mark's father.
"Do we have to have a baby?" I asked confusedly looking at Christian.
