The Green Wood Forest was vast, its thick luscious trees and green canopy engulfed half of the middle lands of Asnea, and rooted firmly in the great woodland stood six majestic trees.
These six trees came to be known as the trees of origin, as they stood taller than all else in the land, with branches that played with passing clouds drawing water from above as well as below.
It was of common belief that the trees were born along with the world and all around the tree life blossomed and thrived spreading rapidly.
In the ages before six forests bloomed, Anamos in the east, Samaya in the north, Moisan in the west, Aesian and Fridit in the south, and Melion grew between them all.
As the ages passed the forest grew and came to be one thriving land of eternal green, where life flourished and bloomed, this great canopy of green came to be known as the Green Wood.
