"Huff," Uriel's breathing was rampant after his near shave with death.
He could feel it again, the power.
It was coursing through his veins, flashing within his hazel eyes granting them an ethereal look.
He was tired from the fight, but he was exhilarated to feel the power bursting through his body.
But his excitement was short-lived as the ethereal energy in his eyes blinked away and the power faded before he could get his fix.
Uriel felt exhausted, the power had a draining effect on his body, he was coming to realize that each time he used it he was left feeling a bout of weakness throughout his body.
Disappointment took his face when he lost hold of the power, no it wasn't like he ever had any hold of it, it came and went as it desired.
