"I'm pretty sure it was that way," muttered Uriel as he led Urlo along the outskirts of the village.
"Are you sure?" Urlo asked with a bland expression, it was the fifth time Uriel had changed direction since they exited the village, each time saying with certainty that they were heading in the right direction, only to change his mind after a few minutes.
"As sure as I've ever been," he replied with a nod and trudged through the snow.
"Maybe it got buried in the snow," Uriel mused as he scratched his chin, by now most of the swelling had gone down from their earlier scuffle.
Urlo rolled his eyes and glanced back to make sure they were out of range of the village, then his form started to shift.
'Should have done this right from the beginning,' Urlo thought as he gave his large wings a flap and soared into the air.
