[Hard–has no established village. You have no protection from monster raids and your land will be in the middle of Vilden Forest.]
Aizen saw it and selected the Hard difficulty. The only reason was, the Hardest difficulty has the biggest opportunity and potential as a land. It has a difficult starting point but hidden within that difficulty was the 20 tribes that you could recruit.
It made Aizen regret that he chose the Normal difficulty in the past. He wanted a challenge but later on he was defeated. The main reason was, the tribes were not recruited in the past and it made a higher challenge to the end game later on.

Aizen then woke up and was in the middle of the forest. He scanned the surroundings and his sword was drawn from his scabbard. Due to the forest that was teeming with monsters. He was in an uncharted territory and still doesn't know the nearby village that his territory was in. The Hard difficulty was yet to be discovered and no one gambled to select the Hard difficulty in the past. The reason was, it was a hard and perilous path.
