While the king and his devious wife were grieving the death of the daughter, Richardson had already taken the child of blessing under his wings.
His wife was forced to play along, as he claimed to have seen the baby abandoned in the forest.
All he wanted was to raise the child of blessing and slowly rise to the top using her powers, but first, he needed to make her grow to be strong.
And so he did so, keeping her as his daughter, and developing every bone, every muscle and all her magical abilities.
This was how the child of blessing, Ava came to be, a child born with the blessing from the gods of Asorth.
....
Ava's eyes widened as she listened to the words flowing out of Aether's mother's mouth.
"Do you see it now, Ava? Your mother is the Queen of Fiona." The woman spoke, a smile on her face as she looked at Ava.
