The children ran towards me the moment I stepped into the room.
Elves tend to be isolated creatures, shielding themselves from the outside world and don't easily warm up to humans. Considering they are also under demons, it's no surprise they hate humans.
Jeanne being an elf herself can't stand them, but for some reason she warmed up to me, the same goes for the elves in this village.
"Hey there…" I responded to their cheers, patting the kids on the head one by one.
"Are we going to have classes again today?" One of the male kids asked.
"Sure… why not, go get your grimoire." I smiled back at them, watching as they excitedly ran away to go get their stuff.
I've been here for almost a week now, and I can already understand why and how some things happen around here.
