Chapter 1 - You Are A Slave!

The night is quiet, the moon is illuminating its light; The sound of the sea waves is calm, as the salty water is splashing giving way for the large ship that is being rowed towards the west.

Soldiers in black metallic coats and silver hats are seated in the barrel each on the side of the ship. All their faces are painted black and the only thing you can see are their white eyes looking like dots. One short and plump soldier removes a black flute from his coat and blows into it, a melancholic tune. The other soldiers join him chanting as they respond to the rhythm of the flute.

On the edge of the ship, a man is standing, tall, his wavy hair swaying to the cool breeze of the ocean as if it's responding to it. His clothes, like his fellow soldiers, are all black with a hint of silver on the hem of it.

He doesn't turn around to join his fellow soldiers in the singing, instead, he is busy, caressing his long, golden sword that is shining in the darkness. He places a kiss on it and mumbles something under his lips, "They will pay."

At that moment, a black crow flies and settles on the tip of the sword, pecking on it a white liquid thatdissipatess through the sword giving it a black color. The crow goes ahead and sits on the shoulder of the soldier.

The soldier raises his sword, the tune stops, the voices stop and the sea is calm.

"Tonight, we invade, tonight, we take what is ours, tonight, we rob them of everything and claim what is ours, comrdaes, brace yourself for we are ready to start a new war, a war of pain, a war of suffering and this war shall be called; The war of vengeance!"

The soldiers all lift their weapons high and chant back in a unique language. Their eyes popped out and their voices so loud that they could be heard a distance away.

They start beating the drums, feet are stomped on the floor to create a rhythm with the drums, and the flute gives a victorious tune as the ships sail as they sing away.

Suddenly, turbulence occurs, a strong wind blows and shakes the mast making it tear up. The once calm and quiet sea is violent. Waves are splashing from side to side and the barrels in the boats are moving side to side. All the soldiers stand, hands on their hips, ready to pull out their swords as they look for a place to support themselves. Suddenly, the turbulence stops and a figure jumps up from the sea, water splashing all over the soldier's face and stands on the other edge of the ship.

"Takeshi Hayabusa, you can't do this," the voice roars, splashes of water moving from the voice and it spills on the soldiers...

The figure is in the shadows and the soldiers move forward, slowly as they hold onto their swords tightly.

Walking from hiding, a beautiful lady, her melanin skin flawless as her eyes radiate blue like an ocean but at this moment, they are sharp and piercing. They illumate the ship acting as light but not bright enough. Her body has chains, old chains. Her silver armor shone and in her hands were the two small knives, etched out ready to slice any man moving closer to her.

She takes a step forward, her sandals making no noise as she walks not even the chains on her body.

The soldiers start to gather behind her, their swords out ready to slice her into pieces.

"Takeshi, vengeance is not the answer!" She shouts again.

The man on the other end of the ship turns around rather quickly, the crow stands still on his head, flapping its wings, it wants to fly but he patts his head and it stays still his shoulder.

"Nyota, you can't stop me, you can't stop me from getting what is mine," heaves Tekashi.

He removes his sword, black like his clothes, and swings it in the air before lifting his feet and jumping in the air. The other soldiers look in awe and he stands in the air with no support, twisting his sword side to side, Nyota on the other side, lifts herself and moves towards Tekashi.

Standing a meter from him, she swirls and the waves from the ocean envelop her. With the help of the waves, she is standing in the air just like Tekashi.

The soldiers are all left shocked as they watch the two up in the sky.

"No, Tekashi, you might go there but I am not allowing you to hurt yourself!" She says and starts moving in a circle around Tekashi.

She was looking for a good position to station herself. Tekashi started moving, whenever Nyota was moving, he also took a step.

Heaving, a sword in his hands, he strikes, Nyota lifts her hands and blocks his strikes, making black and blue strikes of flames form.

"No, Nyota, you are a slave, a slave can't come to war with me!" Tekashi shouts.

Nyota looks at him, her anger burning on her face, below, the waves are causing damage to people below her. She moves into Tekashi, a knife on his throat she looks at him, "I was a slave once, now, I am not!"

Tekashi throws the knife away but Nyota is too strong, they start fighting, strike after strike, blow after blow.

Suddenly a flame is seen from a distance, but the two are so busy fighting that they don't notice, below them, the soldiers are shooting, asking them to climb down.

Suddenly the crow jumps up and pecks both of their swords and they all fall.

Suddenly, they become alert of the company that is near them, all the soldiers are alert, and Tekashi looks at Nyota, "Let us not fight, let us them first!"

They all jump from their boats and flow to the other boat, the soldiers start to throw their arrows and luckily for Nyota, she pushes all the arrows back to them. They go inside the boat and start their war, dipping their weapons in the skins of the enemies.

"For how long are you going to consider me an outsider?" Asks Nyota as she shields Tekashi.

Deeping his swords into a man's hips, Tekashi looks at her," They won't accept you."

Nyota moves away, using her strength to block all the enemies away, pushing them to the edge, then she turns to Tekashi, "So, you will be happy if another man marries me?"

Tekashi moves closer, his sword up in the air, slashing through the flesh of a soldier, " I know, it's painful, but I am grateful for the moment that we had,"

He walks away but Nyota is too quick to grab his hands, "I love you, can't you see?"

Tekashi looks at her, pain in his eyes as she watches her try her best not to cry, "I know, we were childhood friends, but we are now adults, I have a duty to fulfill. I will confirm you as my wing person, every day,"

He lets go of her arm but Nyota doesn't, she pushes herself towards him, grabbing his waist, she dips a kiss on his lips and Tekashi doesn't hesitate, he dips his lips into her throat, and in a flash of a second, the pull away from each other and move away.

The storm stops, and the waves are once again calm, Nyota is holding Tekashi's hand, drowning down in the sea, her eyes still on Tekashi, "Maybe in another world, maybe if I was not a slave, maybe, if I didn't have these chains on my waist, neck, leg, and hands to symbolize my place in the society, I would have held your hands and called you mine Tekashi, bye."

Tekashi let go of her hands, his eyes breaking with tears as she watched her drown deep and her eyes close.
