KARA'S POV
I woke up with a start, breathing heavily, I felt a strange heat in my chest. As I sat up on the bed I lay my eyes darted around in confusion trying to figure out where she was. I certainly wasn't in the room Viktor had placed her in before, however I was still in the castle.
I tried to remember the last thing that happened to me. I remembered that the castle had been under attack. The dukes managed to sneak into the castle and they kill Viktor. And then...and then I was stabbed by Griffith and...died...
I died.
Griffith," I said in a hoarse strained voice as I remembered what he did.
Griffith had stabbed me...so why wasn't I dead? Why was I alive? I lifted my dress and looked at the scar on my chest he had tabbed me. It had become a small insignificant scratch. This must be the high priests doing I thought to myself.
I really thought I was dead. I kind of wish I had died. I mean I deserved to.
