Aldric and I stood near the entrance of the room as the high priest began to work.
"This could take while, a couple of hours I think," he told us. "I'll need complete silence so I can focus. He stood in the middle of the circle with Kara and Viktor's bodies laid out across two separate tables on either side of the table. Viktor had been cuffed and chain in large metal chains.
We watched as the lines of enchantment circle glowed a vibrant yellow-gold colour and then Viktors and Kara's bodies glowed soon after as well. I was once again awe struck by the Priests magic. I couldn't believe all this was real.
I looked at Aldric who had a darkened expression on his face, but his eyes widened at the sight of the priest's magic. I imagine he was angry and confused about all this, but I hoped he would forgive me once everything was explained.
