KARA'S POV
As I lay in Griffith's arms slowly dying, I remembered it all. Everything. That this whole time whilst I had been trying to figure out why I was brought here and where Kara's soul went, the truth was I had in fact been Princess Karina herself.
This whole mess had begun on the day of the coup. The first coup, that is. We had been travelling in the mountains for two days with only one day remaining until we made it to the holy temple. I knew it was the day of the coup because from the meals I would have with Viktor he had told me the dukes were planning to do it on that day.
Viktor had known that the dukes were planning a coup and had servants eavesdrop on their meetings from time to time. The dukes were fools they didn't know that resistance was futile, there was no stopping Viktor as he was always one step ahead.
