"I don't know, like I said I've never used my magic for direct combat before but I'll do my best," he said.
"Good," I said to him. That's all I needed to hear.
We rushed to join Aldric and Isaac.
"We're trying something new I told them. "Things are about to get strange but trust the priest."
Isaac and Aldric looked visibly tired and worn out. I hoped he would be able to hold out for a little while longer.
Viktor looked at us with a cynical smile. "What are you whispering over there?" he said. "It will all be easier if you just simply give up and let me kill you."
He ran toward us at that alarming speed of his and I mentally prepared myself to receive more cuts and bruises. I had already received a series of cuts from his sword looking at the state of my arms and torso. The same went for Aldric and Isaac. We were barely evading his strikes. If this kept up he was eventually going to get us.
