"It's a war, Courtney, there's no avoiding the violence that comes with it. This was unfortunately the only way I could get the answers I needed. To take over their kingdom by force and get rid of the obstacle that was blocking me. The commoners, unfortunately, have to suffer on behalf of others actions, a necessary evil if you will."
"A necessary evil… Are you listening to yourself?!" I asked him in disbelief my mouth almost opening wide. "But it doesn't have to be like this you are terrorizing people! You could have found another way," I tried to argue with him.
"Another way, like what? How else could I have gotten the king of another kingdom to get me to see their High priest once he'd already said no to my request?!!"
"But they are innocent people who died for your personal problems!" I pointed out to him
