KARA'S POV
He too had recurring nightmares of his family? I could only stare at him completely bewildered. So, Viktor really wasn't from this world. There was no way he would know about Maxwell if he wasn't him. I began to process what this meant.
"To think someone else would appear from my own world right under my nose and I almost killed you," he said to me as his voice grew softer. "I'm not alone in this nightmare anymore."
I didn't answer him as I still processed this sudden revelation.
"What is your real name?" he asked.
"Courtney, Courtney Summers," I said slowly.
"Courtney," he repeated after me. "When did you take over Kara's body? What happened to you just before you ended up in this world?"
