ALDRIC'S POV (SPECIAL POV)
Damea quickly took control of the castle and gave orders as we waited for Viktor to soon appear. All the knights that had resisted Damea's takeover were taken to the dungeons whilst all the Akron officials that had been kept down there by Viktor were released. Damea increased the number of knights guarding the castle and the capital city in preparation for when Viktor arrived.
We then waited anxiously for Viktor's arrival. However, the next two days passed and nothing happened, he never showed himself. Then we finally received an unexpected update.
"Your Highness, we have received word that Viktor and many of his knights in the kingdom are retreating and returning to Manar," A servant said to the prince as he sat in his office. Damea, myself, Isaac, and some Akron officials were in the room.
