(SPECIAL POV) ALDRIC'S POV
We set out with the rebel knights and made our way down the mountains making our way to the Akron Capital. We managed to meet up with the prince's team enroute to the capital.
"What happened?" Prince Damea asked as soon as we neared him. His expression changed as he took a close look at us.
"Where are the princess and Griffith?" he asked surprised only to see Isaac and I.
"Viktor escaped," I shamefully responded, "he took the princess with him, and Griffith is dead."
A look of shock appeared on his face as he processed what I told him. " I thought you said you had the situation handled! It's exactly why I agreed to leave when you told me to go. How did things turn out this way? I should have never left," he said angrily and regretfully.
"I don't know what to tell you, Your Highness," Isaac responded. "We are also confused by what happened."
