I considered what Damea said briefly. I didn't know the extent of Griffith's relationship with Kara I knew they knew each for a long time. Kara lived in the castle and I'm sure Griffith had to come to the castle many times with his father. The abuse started when they married a year ago.
So, what was their relationship like before then? Were they friends? I didn't ask too much about his personal life because I didn't intend to get too close to him. But could he possibly have feelings for someone who abused him? Griffith was a kind person, but I hoped he wasn't so forbearing that he would forgive someone who hurt him so much.
"My theory is he most likely felt something for the princess but the way she treated him put him off. You are the version of Karina he wishes she was and that's why he likes you. He's seeing the Karina he wants to see, not you," Damea said.
