A confused expression appeared on my face what did he mean by in the following months? From the book, I knew Kara would die during the coup.
Was he alluding to the fact that Kara was going to die soon? Whilst Viktor hadn't planned for Kara to die during the coup he was planning to discard her soon anyway.
"What do you plan to do with the Prince?" he then asked.
"To play with him as I please," I nervously answered.
"Mmmhm," he said as he thought about it.
"He's still a prisoner of war and so he must be carefully watched. I'll have guards around him to watch him."
"I will keep him drugged as an added measure to make sure he behaves," I told him.
