KARA'S POV
My lips pressed into a thin line as I looked at Aldric who didn't believe me.
"Look, I don't know what you say you can see," he said to the prince. "Or what she told you," he said to Griffith and Isaac. "But you are Kara," he said as he then looked at me.
"Isaac, you mentioned that I should be able to sense a change in her character. Well, a change in one's character doesn't mean a change in one's soul," he said as he glared at me like he could see my soul. "Maybe you got struck by lightning and suddenly feel guilty for what you've done but it doesn't change that you are still the same person. You have to come to terms with what you've done and stop trying to hide behind things to absolve yourself of accountability."
