"How conveniently inconvenient," Isaac said as if he didn't buy his explanation. "How could you not have foreseen that you were going to have a psychopath priest ahead of time?"
"Isaac, that's quite enough," I reprimanded him so he would stop being disrespectful.
"I apologize your Highness," I told Damea.
"Priests are chosen for their ability to perform magic and to tap into the Kerma. However, that doesn't mean they aren't human just like everyone else and can't submit to selfish pleasures and sins," Prince Damea defended the high priests.
"What is it that the priest was trying to achieve with forbidden magic he was doing?" I asked.
"It's not clear what his motives were, as he refused to disclose that information but he was caught in the act, and whatever he was trying to do didn't work as nothing happened in the end. He was considered a danger and swiftly dealt with," the prince answered.
