"We have a lot to plan and if we'll be wasting time. You must realize that we're at a disadvantage as it is we can't make risky decisions and try to bite more than we can chew," Aldric chimed in.
I then remembered the look Prince Damea gave me as we ate dinner. That was a look of determination, a look of a fighter. I felt he wanted to find a way to fight back against Viktor and avenge his father.
"I understand that he'll have doubts about us but I know he desperately wants to stand up to Viktor. What more has he got to lose when everything has already been taken from him? And I'm sure he knows Viktor will eventually kill him," I added. "I feel he's desperate to find a way to fight back. Despite his doubts, I'm sure he might just be open to what we have to say to him."
"How do you plan to talk to him?" Griffith asked me.
"I plan to tell Viktor I'm interested in him and want to spend the night with him."
