Once I returned to the palace after visiting my family I was immediately met with an insane workload given to me by Viktor. In the meantime, with only a few days until Courtney was to return to the palace, I hoped their plans were going well.
Then I heard Courtney had been kidnapped and I was mortified. Especially since I'd received word the day before that Kara and Isaac had successfully convinced Duke Wharton to join our side. I was nervous since I was only told fragmented details about the situation considering how recently the events had occurred. Viktor didn't share everything with me when he talked about the situation as I worked with him in his office.
