Chapter 1 - Chapter 01: A Morning at the Cafe

**Chapter 1: A Morning at the Cafe**

It was a crisp morning, and Ahmad Rashad, a scholarship student of Architecture from the quiet city of Jahlag in the state of Travdis, found himself seated at one of the grandest universities in the world. He decided to take a breather, seeking solace in a quaint café down the street.

As the café door swung open, Ahmad gracefully stepped inside, immediately gravitating toward a seat next to the wide glass windows. He settled in silence, placing his phone and keys on the table with a sense of deliberate calm.

Time flowed gently by as he sat there, lost in thought until he was gently pulled back to the present. A cheerful waitress approached him, her brown apron neatly draped over a white shirt and blue jeans. Glasses perched on her nose, and her head adorned with a dark-colored wrapper.

"Good morning, sir," she greeted, her voice a ray of sunshine.

Ahmad nodded, lifting his gaze to meet her kind eyes. "Good morning."

"What can I get you?" she inquired, her smile as warm as the morning sun.

Ahmad pondered for a moment, a subtle furrow on his brow. "Get me the perfect remedy for a mundane morning."

The waitress chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. "I know just the right thing for you," she assured him before turning to attend to his order.

After a brief interlude, she returned to Ahmad's table, a plastic tray bearing a steaming cup of coffee, a fresh sandwich, and a mysterious extra. She set the tray down before him with grace.

"Here you go, sir," she declared, her eyes alive with anticipation.

Ahmad scrutinized the meal before him, concern etching his features. "This combination... are you certain it won't lead to any unwanted surprises?"

She leaned in, a reassuring twinkle in her eye. "Believe me, sir, this is the remedy for a mundane morning."

He then turned his attention to the enigmatic addition, prodding it with curiosity. "And this? What might it be?"

A playful grin tugged at the corners of her lips. "That, sir, is our special. Consider it a gift from us."

"Thank you," Ahmad replied, his intrigue piqued.

"Enjoy," she said with a parting smile as she made her way to other patrons.

Ahmad ventured into his meal, and to his pleasant surprise, it was a symphony of flavors that danced on his taste buds. He savored every bite, his spirits lifted by the delightful meal.

Upon completing his breakfast, he remained seated, his phone in hand, indulging in video games that transported him to distant worlds. Hours drifted by unnoticed as he lingered in the cafe, an unknowable anticipation in his heart.

As the noon sun reached its zenith, he reluctantly realized it was time to return to the university. He raised his head, casting a brief look around the cafe. Yet, the captivating waitress was nowhere to be found.

"Where is that charming waitress?" Ahmad mused to himself, a hint of curiosity tugging at him. He then shrugged, and with a smile of contentment, he left the cafe.

Exiting the cafe, he hailed a passing taxi and embarked on his journey back to the university, setting forth with a sense of quiet intrigue.
