At a lavish mansion in an enormous city screams could be heard from the east end of the large mansion. Outside the room was two men standing one in a formal butler suit calmly standing their waiting for the birth of his young lord. The other man was a muscular man at a height of 6'6 in casual clothes with a full head of hair and beard of pure dark red flames. He had a slight frown on his face as if he was not happy to be here.
As the cries died down the sound of a baby crying started. A maid walked out the door with a smile on her face as she walks out.
"Congratulations on the birth of your third son my lord."
With a nod lord Klause walked into the room. First thing he saw was the slight golden glimmers in the air. This caused his from to deepen.
"It seems that he has a unique affinity but his talent with it is quite low." He walked a little closer never even looking at the exhausted mother, his eyes still cold. "Your name shall be Atlas Golden, Atlas in hopes of you finding a way to be useful to this family and Golden because for now you are still my son."
Completely losing interest he leaves the room as the head butler says his congratulations to the first wife and follows behind him.
Now alone Alice, Atlas' mother looks at her son there was the slightest amount of love in her eyes though none of that was showed on her permanently cold face. She looked at him with her cold blue eyes that reflected her son's
"Do grow strong Atlas this family does not have place for the useless. Torment shall find you so be strong or it will corrupt you."These would be the most loving words Atlas will hear from his mother years to come.
Little did they all know was that his magical reaction was not some minor golden lights but his true magical reaction would dismantle the family vault and cause confusion in the family for years. They would think they were robbed and by the time they find out it'll be too late.
SIX YEARS LATER
Atlas was on a sofa in his rather sizable bedroom there is a maid at the door waiting for any request her master may have. She also maid sure her master has everything he needed. Her name is Morgan personal maid of the third young lord. She had emerald green eyes and brown hair, she is currently 10 years old and was raised to be the personal maid for this family since birth.
"My lord the mistress requires you to be in the training ground in 30 minutes, please allow me to get you ready."
She said this while walking to get him ready though she did not touch him until she got a nod of approval. Atlas had grown cold as his childhood was in an extremely unwelcoming and competitive environment. The only childish thing about him was his unnatural love for money as a child.
Walking through the hallway of his home Atlas was questioning his maid.
"What has father said of my proposal?"
"The lord cares not of what you do but he's unwilling to allow that much freedom before your awakening and the training after."
"Tsk"
"Please don't be mad with the lord while he doesn't express it he does care."
"You're naivety will be the death of me Morgan we'll need to fix this"
This caused a shiver to go down Morgan's spine.
"Understood my lord."
After a short walk they reached the families training ground there they saw a lady in a white dress with long blue hair and piercing blue eyes.
"You took your time child."Â
"I was busy enjoying the most precious time of my life mother." Atlas said with a snarl to which his mother showed no reaction.
"The lord hopes your at least more talented than the peasants so I've decided to help you awaken." There was no change in her tone as she spoke of forcing his affinity out of him. She threw him a short sword and said" Don't die, it'll do you no good."
With that she dashed at him way faster than his growing little brain can comprehend while wielding a knife. She attempted to kick him which he blocked at the price of throwing up blood and smashing into the nearest wall. Morgan stood there terrified she truly whished to help her master but he strictly forbade her from interfering with his training. All she could do is wait for him to be finished so that she could heal him.
Alice didn't stop for a second with her attack as she dashed towards him a second time. Though she was holding back quite a lot she still showed no mercy. Sending a slash at his neck he parried using the momentum to get up and throw a slash at her ribs which she twisted her way out of.Â
With a spin out of the slash she sent another kick towards Atlas this one he was in no position to block. This threw him tumbling across the floor and laying there numb and exhausted.
" Get up, if you cannot deal with this how will you survive till adulthood with that plan of yours." She continues. " I will get rid of you today if you aren't worth anything which is what you're showing me."
He tried forcing himself up which wasn't doing any good until his mother sent a stab down at him. Forcing himself to roll out the way he coughed up another mouth full of blood. She send another stab at him then a kick which he had to scramble away from.
"Please."
Another kick was sent his way which he tried to parry only to feel his arm slightly snap.
"Please."Â
"Mother please"
With no change at the begging of her child she kept stabbing and kicking.
"MOTHER STOP IT PLEASE!!"
At this while there was a slight pause she still continued with her kick.
That's when it happened Gold and Silver lights floated off his body as the iron sword in his hand morphed into a somewhat liquid state. It raced down up his arm and and to his chest as it reformed as armor on the spot of the kick. He still felt the impact as he rolled across the field. He forced himself up as the iron on his chest melted again and moved around his body as if to be ready for an attack.
His mother with a jab at his jaw was met with the liquid iron which was surprisingly hot, so hot in fact that it melted the skin on her knuckles which caused her to jump away with a frown. As soon as she created distance the iron on her knuckles reformed into it's solid form. It stayed there imbedded in her knuckles.
With a look at her son she saw him passed out on the floor as the iron blob fell on the floor.
"Maid take him away, and make sure he's awake by morning."
With that she left to ponder her child's abilities.
