"Where did she go?" Siliana thoroughly scanned the surroundings.
It was late afternoon and the sun was close to setting. Standing on a road which was emptier than my past life's wallet, I peeked into the tent beside me. Sounds of people groaning, seldomly loud, were coming and the interior looked dirty, and it kinda smells funny too.
After an initial scan, I looked back at the desolate street. From what I understood after seeing this mini town or poor to do place, whatever you call it, is that people clearly didn't care about outsiders much. All locals more or less knew each other and that explained the alien treatment we received so far. What concerned me was that this meant all of my actions were being recorded in public eyes.
I acted a little reckless back when I punched that dude but I don't really regret it. Still, I should try and not stand out too much-
