After hours of walking, Asher and Olen finally saw what looked like a city in the distance. They immediately made their way toward it at top speed.
But when they were about to reach the city, a large glowing blade struck from the sky, exploding on impact.
Olen and Asher jumped back as fast as they could to avoid the explosion.
"Seems we have company," Olen said.
"That is to be expected; a city won't be without its guards. Still, the power in the sword was quite something," Asher commented.
"Outsiders, why have you come to the city of flying swords?" someone asked. Asher and Olen looked up and saw a four-armed man standing on a flying sword.
"You know, you should talk before you take action. You just attacked us out of nowhere," Olen said.
"You headed for the city, outsiders. It is my job to protect it. Do not question my actions," the man said.
