The team no longer existed, it was one man for himself, only Chun Hua, Sade, and Amber stuck together. More than thirty of the soldiers had died, and more were still dying. There was no coordination or plan, how could they be, when they faced off against dragons, wolves, moles, and massive snakes, it was simply luck that some were still alive.
"I guess this is the end for us," Sade spoke, her hands were shaking violently from fatigue, and her knees kept buckling, but she forced herself to stand.
Amber was no better, she looked like a low-charged robot about to shut down, and Chun Hua couldn't draw anymore. The fatigue was beyond what they could take.
As all hope was lost, suddenly all the enemies around exploded into bits, every single one of them, including the dragons. The remaining soldiers looked in shock, what was going on?
