The gates of the capital city slowly opened, guards lined the road that led from the gate to the castle, creating a passageway for whatever wanted to enter the gates. It was an amazing thing seeing such number of guards lining up for such a distance, so the citizens stopped whatever they were doing.
Everyone looked through their windows, doors and wherever they stood, they wanted to see who could invoke such respectful treatment.
After a brief moment, the first pair of completely black horses galloped inside, in a paced and controlled fashion that told about their training. The horses where covered in armour at their necks. On the backs of these majestic creatures where two fully armoured knights, holding their heads high, as their armour displayed the crest of the Terax kingdom.
