Asher struggled to get up from the ground, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Elsa, why didn't you warn me?"
"I didn't sense them at all, if I had, I would have told you," Elsa replied.
Asher looked at the winged statues, one stood in front of the door, that was the one that had punched Asher. The other one stood facing Asher. Asher contemplated bringing out Grey, but he decided not to, Grey needed rest to recover his energy.
Asher looked towards the direction of his sword, he dashed towards it, his hands were just a few feet from it when the statue moved at an unbelievable speed, it held to Asher's leg and threw him at the opposite wall, but something fascinating happened. The sword rose up and flew into Asher's arm just before he was tossed away. Asher hit the wall and fell to the ground, but his mind was not on the pain, it was on the sword that had come to his hand.
