Asher got up, he looked at the variant with a wide grin on his face. The variant paused in her steps, for some reason she could feel that something was different about Asher.
"Now, how do I do this." Asher muttered to himself.
"Just work with my memories, don't make it show." Asher's voice came from inside himself.
Asher might have said he had a plan, but it was simply one big gamble. He had given the reins to Devourer, but Devourer had to only use his lightning, and none of his ability.
He wasn't sure if Devourer could pull this off, but he had to put faith in him. Also there was a limit to how much Devourer could fight here. The damage Asher had received was to his body, and so his body was in a terrible condition.
Devourer didn't have the notion of pain or limit, so he could push Asher's body beyond what it should be capable of. Asher himself was limited by his brain which sets the limit for him.
