A spell storage ring was a ring that held spells, arrays or any magical creation. When you cast a spell and didn't want it to take effect at that moment, you could put it into the ring and release it when you want.
This allowed mages cast powerful spells and keep it for later, so that they could release it instantly. The same thing for arrays, you could craft any array and keep it safe till the period where you will need it.
Asher had known of this ring from a little research sometime ago, but the cost didn't let him get it that time, but now was different since he had a fortune.
