Chapter 37 - Ginny Decision

My decision to include Bridget in the conversation with Gemma and Millicent was a wise move on my part, more than I expected. She felt like I was including her in my life in more ways than just romantic ways and she finally started to understand how I function.

She understood that I need my partners to have their voice so that when I do something wrong they know how to defend themselves, they know who to interact with, they know how to make their own decisions and that doesn't mean they are betraying me.

My subsequent conversation with her was illuminating.

When she finally understood that I can be the head of my Clan on paper, in reality, those in charge of all aspects of the Clan's life are commanded by my wives.

I told her about Alysha being the first line of defense against all the Clans of the Supreme Realm with just her name.

Celine being the second best alchemist in the universe.

And of course, I talked about Lucinda and the fact that she was one of the most powerful mages in the Supreme Realm, being able to wipe the floor with anyone from a Higher-Realm with just her physique.

Bridget's eyes sparkled with so many possibilities.

She, of course, was interested in Lucinda, but it was Celine who really made her heart move.

Celine was the second best alchemist in the universe, but she had another title, Healer Goddess. Celine combined her knowledge of alchemy with medical knowledge she learned from the Healer God Zhun Xiaolan, she then became the greatest healer in the Supreme Realm.

At that time she was already a magnificent alchemist and he decided to teach her in hopes of winning her heart. Let's just say he wasn't happy at all when he found out she was my wife.

From then on our days became more harmonious. She started thinking more about what she could achieve in the future and made me promise to introduce her to Celine as soon as we arrived at the Supreme Realm.

Even though I didn't know how long it would take, I would ensure that this promise was fulfilled.

As the days went by I was thinking about how to give the Dans to Ginny, I didn't want to seem like I was buying her since Ginny was going home on the 22nd.

My problem was solved by her.

During our transfiguration class he gave me a note asking to spend the night from Saturday to Sunday with me.

This started a conversation that ended with me agreeing to learn Disillusionment Charm to bring her into the Slytherin common room, we had one more class together before the weekend and she would borrow one of the twins' book.

I would have 36 hours to learn Spell if I wanted to spend the night with her.

I had received a visit from the twins, they asked a battery of questions and despite not being satisfied with the situation I left the meeting basically unharmed, just a few burns from a battery of fireworks.

When Bridget found out about this, she was a little bothered that Ginny would actually sleep with me, something she hasn't done yet. She just sleeps next to me, but we never go beyond that.

After spoiling her for a few hours she agreed to give up her day.

My marathon to learn Disillusionment Charm was the most intense of my life, compared only to my manic moments studying ingredients for my Dans.

When the time came, the spell wasn't perfect yet, but I would need to make it work.

I left the Slytherin common room to find Ginny near the Great Hall, she would be leaving dinner.

When I arrived at the Great Hall I waited a few moments to appear at the door so she could see me, the first time I appeared she didn't look at the door. I had to leave and come back four more times before she saw me.

She signaled to me with her eyes and then I waited for her to come to me.

My luck was that bad, she didn't stay long. She came walking quickly, grabbed me by the hand and basically started running.

I took out my wand and cast Disillusionment on both of us.

"No need to run, I already hid us." – I said trying to calm her down.

"How far did you get on Spell?" – she asked, still in a hurry.

"Someone needs to be at least ten meters away to see something." – I said.

She relaxed her step, but turned to me.

"How am I supposed to get into the common room if they're going to see me?" – she asked worriedly.

"I said 'see something', to identify you if it's not someone with high proficiency in magic they need to be two meters away, the people in the common room usually keep their distance from me and don't pay much attention to me, let's go in and go straight to my room." – I explained how this would work.

She was still worried that someone would see her and it would get back to her brothers before she left for home over the winter holiday.

When we got close to the common room, I waited until we were alone to cancel my Disillusionment while Ginny held on to my clothes to move next to me, we needed a few moments for our steps to be minimally synchronized and I let her know when we were arriving.

"I'll stop to say the password at the door in 3… 2…1…" – I murmured, hoping she would hear.

She still hit me, but it was better than I expected.

Now was the embarrassing part for me.

"Stinkindor" – I said, saying the password to enter the common room.

It was as if Snape hated Gryffindor to the point of being childish, he didn't directly choose the passwords, but allowing this to go on for so long only showed how much he detested them. The passwords were voted on weekly in a ballot box in the common room and it was almost always a joke with Gryffindor.

"You'll pay me for this." – I heard Ginny murmuring.

"I don't choose the password." – I replied between my teeth.

When the door opened I immediately started walking, the people inside the common room didn't pay attention to my appearance and no one tried to approach me.

The tricky part was the hallway to the rooms.

I took a deep breath and hoped it was empty.

When we entered it, there were two students heading towards the common room that would pass close to us.

Thinking quickly I found a solution.

"When we pass them we accelerate." – I murmured, almost without moving my lips.

I took a deep breath, preparing myself.

As soon as they passed me I started to quicken my pace, by the time they noticed something strange we were already two meters away from them, when they decided to look back we were almost five meters away. When they finally looked back we were eight.

All they could see was that something didn't feel right, but they didn't know what exactly.

The best thing about being in the house of those who don't try hard is that they can't even recognize a Disillusionment Cham without learning it.

Arriving in the room, I opened the door quickly, letting Ginny enter first.

When I finally closed the door and canceled her Spell, I could finally check on her. Under the Spell's effect I could still see her, but I hadn't had time to really pay attention to her until now.

She was nervous, both about what we had done and what we were about to do.

"Stinkindor, you are so childish." – she complained, finally speaking.

"What can I do, this is what a rivalry of almost a thousand years does." – I argued against.

She snorted.

I extended my arms to her asking for a hug.

I knew she needed to feel safe at the moment.

"Alright, you're already here and I don't believe anyone has seen you." – I said trying to calm her down.

She snuggled into my chest and I could feel her heart racing.

"Maybe we'll lie down for a bit to rest, this adventure was bigger than we expected." – I suggested.

I felt her head move approving my suggestion.

I took her to the bed, sitting her down first, I knelt in front of her and took off her shoes and then her socks.

Although my room wasn't the coziest in the castle, the temperature here wasn't the worst. One of the runes I studied was temperature control, my room always maintained the same temperature both in summer and winter, great for me as I like to sleep without a shirt.

With that done, I took off her coat and let her lie down on the bed.

I started taking off my clothes too, but instead of my usualm I layed down next to her still wearing a shirt and pants.
