Scarlet can help but cursed the fucking system. She is not even a day in this world but she had do a lot of things just to survive and this is system of hers is not even helping her but rather blackmailing her for the third time already.
"My child!"
Ragna immediately run towards his child but Scarlet block him.
"Get out of my way!" Ragna angrily said as he bare his fangs at her.
"Calm down. We don't who or where are the enemies; if we act rashly she may be in danger." She said as she assesses their surroundings. This place is cold and creepy. She then look again on the prompt and then to the child on the stone table in the middle of the altar.
'When can she take a rest.' She mentally weeps.
Ragna saw her guarded yet worn out gaze and realized—he hates to say it—that she is correct. It's not the time to act and reckless since they don't know where is the enemy lurking.
When Scarlet noticed that Ragna was becoming more at ease, she started roaming her gaze and observing the environment once more. She noticed that there were about twenty skeletons sitting on the seats, clad in rags, and that there was a large magic circle in front of the stone altar in addition to various magic texts that were scribbled all over the place.
She looked at something written on the wall behind the altar and scowled. It was a language, she didn't know, inscribed by blood in a pattern or word.
"Do you know what that is, Berry?" She questioned Berry who had been on guard. Right now, the Queen's safety is his first responsibility; if anything were to happen to her, the Leader would murder him.
Following her direction, Berry saw the strange pattern; as a White Crow Member, they are trained in various skills, including fighting, magic, auras, and many languages, but this is the first time Berry has seen this pattern or words.
""Your Majesty, I'm afraid I don't know what that is."
"Maybe it's a demon language." Ragna inserted.
"Hmm, probably." Scarlet hummed.
The goal of demons has always been to subjugate all kingdoms and spread the mysterious [Dark Haze] which corrupts and destroys everything it comes into contact with. Other than this, mankind knows very little about these creatures.
"I couldn't sense anyone beside us." Ragna whispered to her in a grim way, and she nodded understandingly.
This could be a trap.

She had already wasted twelve minutes surveying the area, so she could not sit around and wait for the enemy to show up.
"Let's approach the Altar but still be on guard." She ordered.
The two nodded and they slowly walk towards the Altar.
Scarlet can't help but feel saddened as they approach the altar; she has previously seen the child's condition in her memories, but witnessing it in real life hurts the heart.
Ragna had never seen his child before; the altar was far away and the room was dim, making it difficult for him to distinguish the child's features. But now that the child is in front of him, a wave of joy, love, concern, and worry washes over him. He didn't forget to give his child's mother a glare, though, as he studied her miserable face and body.

For a five-year-old, she was extremely little, underweight, and covered in scars. The child was tortured by [Scarlet] when she was two years old just because she detested dogs. On occasion, [Scarlet] even served the child spoiled and rotten food, which made the girl throw up and starve.
Ragna gently strokes his child's unclean hair and her small scar on her forehead, her cheeks soiled from tears all the way down to her dry lips. He detested [Scarlet] immensely, and the situation of their child had made him even more hateful.
"Lord Beowulf! I'm going to chop your neck if you don't remove your hands on the Queen!"Ragna jerked out of his daze and grimaced when he felt the red-haired boy's knife tip at his throat.
"Ragna, release your grip. Scarlet yelled, "Berry, drop your dagger," as she struggled to release the hold on her wrist.
Ragna is currently in his demi form, which makes his hold so powerful that his razor-sharp claws are puncturing her skin. Scarlet can only endure the pain.
"Lord Beowulf! Release her majesty down." Berry warned pushing the dagger further prickling his skin.
Berry is no longer that curious and innocent like red boy hair they saw earlier instead he exudes a menacing and cold aura.
"Are you disobeying my orders, Berry?Scarlet said, raising her bow.
The safety of the queen is the top concern for a White Crow member like Berry, so when Ragna grabs the queen with his ironclad claw, he poses a threat to her. Nevertheless, the queen's orders are unwavering, so Berry reluctantly and slowly removes the dagger from Ragna's neck.
Ragna, on the other hand, turned to face Scarlet and glanced at his left hand, which may have been unconsciously gripped in a fit of rage. Ragna, to be honest, is confused who he should vent this hatred. He detested her and made numerous plans to murder her, but now that she has revealed that the person who had been torturing him for years was a fraud and a demon who had also already died.
"Ngh."
Keira groaned that made Ragna quickly released Scarlet's hand and worriedly tending tohis child.
"Child, are you okay?" Ragna awkwardly picks up the child off the altar and places it in his arms.
Scarlet let out a sigh of relief, rubbed her sore wrist, and glanced at her father-daughter duo while Berry remained vigilant against Ragna
"AHH!!HURTS!!!"
The child's abrupt cry of pain startled the three of them.
"What is happening?"Scarlet asked in a panic, then realized that Keira was clutching her tummy while grunting in agony.
Scarlet immediately remove the child hands and lift her tattered clothes and everyone were shocked on what they've saw.
A worm with scales, measuring twelve centimeters in length and half an inch in width, is wriggling insdie on her stomach.
"H-hurts! H-Hurts!" Keira sobbed loudly, as tears and snort streaming down her cheeks. Ragna couldn't decide how to ease the child's agony as she writhed in misery, so he just held her closely.
"W-what is that?!" Berry questioned in a terrified tone as he peered at the ugly creature writhing inside the princess's stomach.
"A demon worm."
It was when Ragna and Berry turned to face Scarlet that they realized something was amiss; her face was ghastly pale and she was sweating profusely.
"Are you alright?"Ragna questioned, but before she could respond, she experienced a sharp pain in her stomach that forced her to take a step back.
Both guys call her out, but she is so in pain that she bit her lip to stop herself from screaming, jer vision is also becoming blurry, and her temples are pounding.
When Scarlet felt something squirming in her stomach and wanting to explode, another wave of pain forced her to kneel on the ground because she could take it no more.
"Scarlet!"
"You're Majesty!"
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
The two guys are stopped from helping her by an unsettling drum sound. They turn to look into their surroundings, but before they can locate the source of the sound, thye hear another sound.
*CRACK* CRACK* CRACK*
When Ragna and Berry turned to face the sound, their eyes widened in surprise to see the skeletons that had been sitting there before slowly rising to their feet and making a cracking sound with their bones as they stand up.
Scarlet seen what was going on and couldn't help but mentally curse, especially when she heard the system make noise and saw a flashing brilliant blue interface in front of her.
