Chapter 1 - Inferno Sun

In the bustling city of Tirana, widely known as the hub of youth culture, strolling through the thronged streets was a young man in his twenties with striking white hair. He was dressed in a sleek white suit with bold stripes, black trousers, and slip-resistant shoes, sporting a pair of black sunglasses. The cacophony of honking cars, chattering people, and footsteps echoed in the air, creating a symphony of urban sounds. The white-haired gentleman opted for a different route, venturing into the obscure corners of this picturesque city, where a black door with a sign reading "Bar of the nonchalant" caught his eye. The guy walked in as each and every breathing person in that bar turned to him with a strike of curiosity.

"Well well… Greetings there my fellow ladies and gentleman!"

The young man shouted in a cheerful tone as the bar followed suit, raising their drinks to greet him!

"Klodian is here boys! Where the hell have you been all day?"

"I was dropping off my sister home. It was her first day of High-School."

The guy who we now know was named Klodian responded to the customer's curiosity as he walked towards the bar counter side jumping over it while landing gracefully putting on his gloves.

"Now my friends! Let us feast until the night and day turn to a thousand for us!" [A/N: Albania saying to make good will last a long time.]

The bar cheered in happiness as drinks and food were served all day long the smiles of the people who had come here to escape from the harsh punishments that life opposed upon them made the bar shine like a candle in the dark.

After a long day of work, Klodian was reorganizing everything in the bar diligently until the TV on his right spoke something that caught his attention, raising the volume with it's remote.

"In tonight's news, authorities have found a giant painting of a crimson coloured symbol hidden deep within the forest of Butrint. Sources say this is the work of cultists and protestors, but futher investigation will be conduct-" The television connection and signal abruptly ceased without any apparent cause, despite the pleasant weather throughout the day.

Klodian thought to himself as of to what could be the cause of this, until he heard a bloodied scream coming from the bar's door. Approaching it with caution, Klodian heard the slash of a sword.

His instincts suddenly began to scream! Being only 3 steps away from the entrance of a cafe as it got blasted opened and sent towards Klodian who managed to block it but the kick was strong enough to sent him all the way to the bar's counter.

"SON OF A-!" Klodian kicked the door away but was shocked at what he saw what seemed to be the agressor. A tall being wearing a crimson armor masked with an old japanase oni mask, holding a bloddied sword with... Horns?

"ꌩꂦꀎ ꅏꀤ꒒꒒ ꌗꀎꎇꎇꍟꋪ ꃅꀎꎭꍏꈤꌗ!" [Translation: YOU WILL SUFFER HUMANS!]

The being said with an ear piercing voice as Klodian got ready to fight.

"Here I thought this would be a normal day… But hey, for breaking that door… I will now break you!"

Klodian said with a murderous intent in his voice as his piercing gaze had caught the demon off by surprise.

He surged forward, with a blur of motion, closing the distance between him and his adversary, hitting it with swift attacks of slaps and back slaps to confuse it as he went for a powerful strike with a vertical punch to push it back enough for him to land a spinning heel kick and sending the being flying into a wall.

Klodian recovered his stance as he went over the counter and grabbed two wine bottles, walking towards the being as he swung both the bottles in a swift motion on top of the counter and a nearby table, shattering them and having now two sharp makeshift blades.

"Don't bring a knife to a sword fight? I'll bring wine in then!"

Klodian said cheerfully as the adrenaline was pumping inside his skull in large amounts, it had been years since he last got a real fight!

He leaped forward, trying to land a powerful axe kick on the demon!

The being narrowly escaped by rolling away as it got up, lunging towards Klodian swinging it's sword but the motion was too slow as Klodian managed to easily dodge it, grabbing the being's arm as he threw one of the wine bottles 3 steps away from them landing vertically with the sharp parts pointed towards the air dragging it in a circular motion, hitting it with a back punch to sent it on the ground.

Before the demon could retaliate Klodian grabbed it by it's head, dragging it towards the wine bottle.

The being wanted to be set free trying to grab Klodian's arm as the latter was now pushing it down forcefully as it slowly got impaled through the head from the sharp parts of the wine bottle.

"Pant... Pant... Fucking son of a bitch..."

Klodian said with an annoyed tone as he looked at the being with a curious gaze as he grabbed the corpse of the being, dragging it upwards as the wine bottle was covered in blood.

He slowly flipped the corpse over, to be met with a sight he'd only seen in novels and manhwas.

"You have gotta be shitting me..."

Klodian's surprised gaze could be felt along with an annoyed tone.

He saw the face of something that could be called a hybrid between a demon and human, giving it a closer look, the being had a face of a human yet the apperance of a demon and according to it's armor, this must be an evasion...

"This is impossible! What the hell does a demon want here!? This isn't a novel damn it!"

As Klodian's tantrum and rage was being unleashed he kicked the demon's corpse away, he was far stronger physically but in that moment, his heart dropped.

"Wait… If this one was here… Oh no!"

Klodian's face turned to one of worry and grimace, if his cafe was attacked then that would surely mean the whole country was in the same state! He couldn't go through the streets as the risk was too high, but he did think of something else.

"The emergency exit!"

Klodian went to the back of the bar and opened up a cellar that lead him down to the basement where a manhole was located

Reality can often be disappointing but for Klodian it was a blessing! He entered through the manhole to enter the sewer system of the city.

As he was running across the sewers, he could hear the bloodied screams of people getting slaughtered and bullets flying, the army had been dispatched but as it was looking, they wouldn't be able to hold them back for long! But the sun... That was what surprised him the most. Instead of shining a golden light, it had turned into a bloddied crimson colour.

"Shit..."

Klodian cursed to himself as he finally arrived at his destination! It was an advantage that he had memorized the sewer systems of the city as a means of an emergency and one which he had hoped would never come.

He busted out the manhole just to see his house being burned down as his heart dropped in anxiety and fear for his family's well-being, he rushed into it blasting the door open with a powerful kick, as he saw a sight that broke him... His parents' bloddied bodies, slashed apart as the crimson colour had covered them and their lifeless eyes staring right into his eyes.

But then he noticed another figure, one which was holding Klodian's sister on top of it's shoulder as it was about to leave.

It seemed to be a tall man, with white hair, wearing a royal black robe with his golden eyes staring Klodian right through his soul as it felt the rage growing inside of him.

"If you do not put my sister down… I WILL FEED YOU THOSE HORNS YOU ARE SO PROUDLY CARRYING AROUND!"

Klodian screamed with an enraged gaze as the being started laughing and snickering to itself.

This would be a battle that could mean life or death but for whom… it could not yet be said.
