Chapter 2 - The illusion of dragon

As the man returned with the much-needed water, he saw the children gazing up at the sky in amazement. To their wonder and delight, there appeared to be an illusion of a majestic dragon in the sky, its serpentine form twisting and turning amidst the moon's eerie light.

One of the children from the visiting couple, caught up in the excitement of the moment, playfully picked up a stone and aimed it at the illusory dragon. Their cousins, equally captivated by the illusion, followed suit, throwing stones into the air as if to challenge the mythical beast.

The grandmother, her memory suddenly jolted by this unexpected turn of events, recalled that this day was indeed Pournami, a day of great significance. In a rush of realization, she hurriedly emerged from her house, her eyes wide with concern and her heart pounding. The ancient stories and warnings of her ancestors flooded her thoughts, for they had always cautioned against interfering with the celestial occurrences on this particular day.

She called out to the children, urging them to stop their stone-throwing as she approached, her voice trembling with a mixture of admonition and fear. The dragon illusion remained in the sky, its form undisturbed by the stones, but the grandmother knew that meddling with such celestial events could carry unforeseen consequences.

As she gathered the children around her, she began to recount the tales of her own ancestors, the legends of the celestial dragon, and the delicate balance between their world and the heavens. The family listened, their excitement turning to awe as they realized the significance of this day and the magic that seemed to envelop them on the snow-covered mountain during of Pournami.
