Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- Encounter With The Devil

The university was abuzz with life, and Lorenzo had long become an integral part of that vibrant ecosystem. To those around him, he was a model of humility, a prodigy who wore his extraordinary talents with grace. Professors admired his intellect, fellow students aspired to his achievements, and he, in turn, extended a friendly hand to all.

Lorenzo's POV

Small fries, I thought to myself as I made my way through the campus. The praise and admiration heaped upon me had always seemed excessive. My grin was modest, my words humble, but within the corridors of my mind, I couldn't help but see them as minuscule players on a stage too vast for them to comprehend.

The classes went by, each lecture a mere formality for someone who had surpassed the need for formal education. School ended, and I parted ways with my admirers, offering them kind words and promises of another day.

"How long has it been since then?" I asked myself, reminiscing. As I made my way through the fading sunlight, a vivid memory surfaced, pulling me back to the time when everything had started.

The professor cleared his throat, and the classroom fell into silence. He spoke, "Class, we have a new transfer student joining us today. Please welcome Lorenzo."

As the door swung open, there he was—a figure who stood apart from the rest, a living phenomenon wrapped in the cloak of composure. Lorenzo had short-long white hair that framed his striking face and a pair of captivating, unique purple eyes that seemed to hold the mysteries of the universe. His lean, athletic body exuded an aura of physical prowess, leaving no doubt that he was in his late teens, a welcome addition to the class.

The students exchanged glances, their whispers of curiosity mixing with the soft rustling of papers. "Lorenzo D'Ambrose," he introduced himself with a calm confidence that matched his appearance, his voice laced with a hint of intrigue as if he carried a secret only he could understand.

With the afternoon sun still casting its warm glow, I made my way to the library. It was one of my favorite retreats, where books whispered the secrets of the world to those who listened.

I lost myself in the pages, the knowledge within becoming a familiar friend, and hours melted away like minutes. But as the day darkened and the library prepared to close its doors, I left with a sense of fulfillment.

Narration

Lorenzo never thought his life would take such an unexpected turn. It was an ordinary evening, and he had just left the library, where he'd been reading when the rain began to fall. The streets glistened under the lamplight, and the soft patter of raindrops was the only sound in the quiet neighborhood.

He quickened his pace, eager to reach his apartment and escape the sudden downpour. As he walked, he heard a low, gravelly voice from behind him, "You there, young man."

Lorenzo turned, his curiosity piqued. He was met with the sight of a mysterious figure cloaked in shadows, standing at the corner of a dimly lit alley. The stranger's face was obscured, hidden in the inky darkness of the hood.

"How do you feel about changing the world, Lorenzo?" the figure asked, and something about the voice sent shivers down Lorenzo's spine.

The stranger's question hung in the air, heavy with intrigue and a hint of danger. Lorenzo, always driven by his insatiable curiosity, felt an irresistible pull, as though destiny itself had chosen this rainy night to reveal a path he could never have foreseen.

Lorenzo hesitated, but the promise of changing the world was too enticing to ignore. He stepped closer to the hooded figure, raindrops splattering on the cobblestone ground. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice a mixture of caution and curiosity.

The stranger extended a gloved hand, revealing a glimmering emblem embedded in the leather glove. It bore an intricate symbol—a fusion of ancient glyphs and modern design. "This," the stranger said, "is your ticket to a power beyond your wildest imagination. But it comes with a price, Lorenzo."

As Lorenzo reached out to touch the emblem, the world around him seemed to shimmer. Reality shifted, and he was suddenly aware of an extraordinary energy coursing through his veins. The symbol on the glove now glowed brightly, casting an eerie, ethereal light in the alley.

"I can give you this power," the stranger declared, "but you must be willing to leave your old life behind."

Lorenzo's heart raced. It was a decision that could change the course of his life forever. He laughed, then with a casual grin, he nodded. "Why not?"

With that simple nod, Lorenzo unknowingly set in motion a series of events that would lead him to uncover the secrets of his own extraordinary abilities.

As the hooded figure offered Lorenzo a glimpse into the unknown, he was suddenly engulfed by a brilliant, blinding light that enveloped him entirely. When the light began to dissipate, the figure had vanished, leaving Lorenzo standing in the quiet alley, wondering if it had all been a vivid illusion.

Lorenzo turned to leave. But just as he took his first step, a presence surged toward him. A very athletic boy with vibrant pink hair and piercing pink eyes appeared before him, his arrival so sudden that it felt like a bolt of lightning. He interrupted Lorenzo, his gaze locked onto him with an intensity that sent shivers down Lorenzo's spine.

Lorenzo, bewildered and caught off guard, managed to stammer, "Who are you?" But before he could complete his question, the boy interjected, his tone tinged with suspicion, "Are you an enemy or ally?" A pause followed, and then, with an abrupt shift, the boy declared, "Never mind, I'll find out after capturing you."

In an instant, the boy sprinted towards Lorenzo, his movements swift and determined, propelling the unfolding encounter into an unexpected and chaotic dance of fate.

"Like hell I'll get captured!!!"
