Jiu Li scanned the room and noticed that there were several crates stacked up against the walls. They cautiously made their way towards the center of the room, where they could hear muffled voices coming from the other side of a large metal door.
"Can you hear what they're saying?"
Wei Feng whispered.
Jiu Li strained his ears to listen, but the voices were too faint to make out any words. Silence greeted Wei Feng.
"No"
Jiu Li finally said.
"I think we should split up so we would be more efficient in finding out what's the organization's scheme and meet back here later. There's a hallway over there—you can go there while i go here"
Wei Feng pointed to another hallway.
Jiu Li nodded in agreement and they both split up, each taking a different hallway. Jiu Li's hallway led to a small room where a paper lied on a desk saying,
"Beware of the infamous "The stuttering cannibal," a merciless murderer who preyed upon his victims with unrelenting brutality. But after years of terrorizing his targets, he suddenly switched gears and took up a new obsession: collecting dolls. Rumor has it that his twisted motive for this macabre hobby is to dissect the innocent bodies of his dolls."
Jiu Li's heart raced as he read the paper. He had heard of The stuttering cannibal before, but he didn't know that the infamous killer was involved with the organization.
Suddenly, he felt drowsy.
…
Chop chop chop
Huh? Why is there chopping sounds? Jiu Li opened his eyes. The scene he witnessed the moment he opened his eyes was indescribable. The room was a mess with various doll body parts and heads scattered everywhere. Standing amidst of the mess was a man with bloodshot eyes laughing maniacally.
Jiu Li quickly realized that he was in danger. He tried to move, but his hands and feet were bound. The man noticed that Jiu Li was awake and slowly made his way towards him.
"Well, well, well...look what we have here,"
the man said with a twisted grin.
"You must be Jiu Li. My, my, you are a nosy little rat, aren't you?"
Jiu Li struggled to free himself from the bindings, but they were too tight. The man chuckled and continued,
"You know, I wasn't planning on turning you into a doll, but now that you're here...why not have some fun?"
Jiu Li knew that he had to act fast. He looked around the room and spotted a sharp piece of metal lying on the ground near him. He quickly scooped it up with his bound hands and used it to cut the ropes that bound him.
As soon as he was free, Jiu Li jumped to his feet and faced the man.
The man charged at him with a crazed look in his eyes, but Jiu Li was quick to dodge and strike back. The two engaged in a fierce fight, with Jiu Li using his martial arts skills to fend off the man's attacks. After a few minutes of intense fighting, Jiu Li managed to knock the man down with a well-placed kick.
With the man down, Jiu Li quickly made his way out of the room and back to the hallway. He needed to find Wei Feng and get out of there before more trouble came their way.
…
Wei Feng sauntered across the hallway in search for clues. The hallway led to a room with a computer. Just when he entered the room, the computer screen lit up.
Ding!
[Danny's Circus]
[Play] [Save Progress]
[New Game] [Settings]
The computer screen was somehow alluring and seductive. Wei Feng couldn't help but stare at it for a while. Suddenly, darkness surrounded him.
Wei Feng found himself standing in the middle of a circus ring. The crowd was cheering and applauding as performers made their way around him.
"Welcome to Danny's Circus!"
a chilling voice echoed throughout the tent, sending shivers down Wei Feng's spine.
"You're the new act,"
the clown's sinister tone made Wei Feng's blood run cold as he was handed a top hat and a cane, and pushed towards the center of the ring. Wei Feng was confused but decided to play along.
As the eerie music played, Wei Feng twirled the cane and danced, but the cheers of the crowd were drowned out by the pounding of his heart.
All of a sudden, the lights went out, engulfing Wei Feng in a suffocating darkness.
Suddenly, he heard ghastly cries and spine-chilling wails. And when the lights flickered back to life, the once lively circus was now eerily deserted, with only crimson pools of blood staining the floor.
Wei Feng's eyes widened as he tried to make sense of what was happening. He had to find a way out of there and fast. He began to move slowly, cautiously stepping around the blood stains on the ground. As he walked, he heard faint whispers and laughter coming from the shadows.
Suddenly, a figure stepped out from the darkness.
Da da da
It was the clown from before, but this time his grin was twisted and terrifying. He began to chase after Wei Feng, who sprinted away as fast as he could. The circus tent seemed to stretch on forever, with no exit in sight. Wei Feng turned a corner and came face to face with a group of sinister-looking clowns.
He had to think fast.
Wei Feng remembered the cane and top hat that the clown had given him. He spun the cane in his hand, twirling it around before throwing it towards the group of clowns. They were caught off guard, allowing Wei Feng to sprint past them and continue running through the maze-like circus tent.
As he ran, he noticed strange symbols etched into the walls and floors of the tent.
Wei Feng recognized the symbols as ancient runes, and he realized that they might hold the key to escaping this nightmare. He stopped running and focused on the symbols, trying to decipher their meaning.
Suddenly, the clowns caught up to him, surrounding him from all sides. Wei Feng felt a sense of panic rising within him, but he tried to remain composed and focused.
Wei Feng took a deep breath and closed his eyes, visualizing the symbols etched into the walls and floors.
As he concentrated, the runes began to glow and emit a soft hum. The clowns were taken aback by the sudden display of magic, giving Wei Feng the opportunity to slip past them and continue his escape.
He followed the glowing symbols, which led him to a door at the far end of the circus tent.
But of course, the clowns wouldn't let Wei Feng off the hook so easily.
As he tried to open the door, the clowns closed in on him again. Wei Feng quickly backed away and looked around for anything he could use as a weapon. His eyes fell on a nearby juggling pin. Wei Feng picked up the pin and spun it around, ready to defend himself.
The clowns charged at him, but Wei Feng was quick to react.
He dodged their attacks and swung the juggling pin with all his might, knocking the clowns down one by one. Finally, he managed to open the door and escape from the circus tent.
Wei Feng found himself back in the hallway where he had entered the room with the computer. He shook his head, trying to clear his mind and process what had just happened.
That certainly wasn't a joyful experience.
