Waking up by my alarm clock was annoying. I didn't have enough time to sleep because I had a long day at work yesterday.
Writing down my to-do list for today, I heard a knock on my door
After a few seconds of silence, I told the person to come in, he came in and told me my dad wanted to see me before I left for work, I just nodded and he left
That old man of mine is really a pain in the ass, what does he want from me now, he's the real reason my mum divorced him, I said.
After one hour of dressing up, I left my room well I didn't have any time to have breakfast so I went to my dad's room no need to knock because I was already welcome, No need to be rude I greeted him
"You called me father," I said and sat beside him
He responded with
"When are you bringing a wife home", he looked at me and said," I need grandkids Ryan, someone to take over my dynasty and yours". Damn, I was not expecting to hear that.
I sighed and said
"Really, Dad you are thinking of me bringing home a wife"
I stood up in anger, I couldn't take this anymore and I finally said.
"I'm not ready for marriage dad, you know I'm not"
He stood up and looked straight into my eyeballs and said " I'm giving you 72 hours to bring home a wife or else!" he said and left
Watching my dad leave with those words he said, made me wanna lose control like damn 72 hours, where would I find a wife under that time, talking to myself, my personal bodyguard came in, his name was Gideon
"Sir, can I help you with anything?", he said knowing something was wrong
I nodded, my father to get a girl to be my wife within 72 hours, at this point, I didn't know what to do cause I didn't have time for women
Sir, I have a solution, ohm, sir, Mr. Christopher, the club owner, have you forgotten he made a promise to you!.
Yeah, totally forgot, OK, get me the daughter, and make it quick.
"Of course sir", Mr Edward is still in the basement. What should we do?

Coming back from the club late at night and not seeing a bus was very annoying so I had to trek a mile to my dorm, on my way home a black car with tinted glass stopped.
A guy came out and it was Gideon so surprised and happy to see him, so I hugged him.
We went to a burger shop, and while eating I said, It's been a long time, Gideon.
Yeah, I know right!, He said
It's really good to see you, what's brought you to this side of the town? I asked.
He dropped his burger and looked at me
"I have something to tell you, Ava"
Ok, I'm all ears, "so what do you want to tell me?"
"Christopher, the owner of your club, your father, made a promise to a wealthy man after paying his debts. Your father promised to do anything for him, absolutely anything.
So, my boss, "the wealthy man", wants you in return.
Shocked at his words "What did you just say, You're kidding right?? He sold me, like how? Why?
"Look Ava, the man needs you tomorrow, and there's no two ways about it".
"Gideon I can't believe it and I'm not doing it okay" I said and wanted to leave. Before I could reach the door, Gideon inserted a needle on me which made me unconscious.
When I woke up, I saw myself in a huge room bigger than my dorm. I stood up from the bed to find my way home, and then Gideon came in.
You little ingrate, where am I? I said to him,
Calm down Ava this is business alright, I'm not going to tell you anything, my boss will. He's going to handle your case with the police about that incident that happened if you tell him but for now, settle down.
Looking at him with disgust, "I should settle down Gideon", Are you for real!!. And who the hell is your boss?
"He's not around at the moment but before he comes back I need to dress you up, please I don't want violence, you need this opportunity you know that. He's a nice guy, so please calm down. He said, still looking at me.
I stood there looking at him straight in his eyes and I asked, "What does he want from me?"
"A baby"
I scoffed, I should have known that I was here to push out a living soul.
So, what am I expected to do? I asked Gideon. I just want you to be of good character and do whatever he wants you to do.
Yeah, you're going to meet his father too. What!!! Why will I have to meet his father? I thought it was supposed to be between him and me.
OK, I said I'm not going to tell you anything. Wait for him to return, he will give you full details on why you're here and what you're going to do.
I stood hopeless, Gideon was right I needed this, He needed me and I needed to use him and build something for myself.
Gideon!! I'm in.
Okay, let's go shopping before he gets back because you're going to have dinner with him.
I nodded, we went to an exotic boutique, I got the kinds of stuff that I needed, and we went home. Get dressed ok, look super nice. He said.
"Before I forget, be on Red", Gideon said and left me alone in the room
I finished putting on a red gown and staring at myself in the mirror admiring my figure. Veering around from the mirror to go see Gideon, I saw a handsome man standing in front of me.
Oh my God, this must be Gideon's boss, I said. My baby is going to be Handsome!!.
