After Cassian had learned about his departure to the territory of his fiance he has already informed the maids of the mansion through Maria. As for Caitlin he has told her and made her the maid who will accompany him to the territory.
Right now he is getting ready to leave as his carriage has already been made and his luggage was also prepared for a week, he is currently watching the servant load the carriage as Caitlin is standing beside him. Some of the maids including Maria were standing a few feet away as they were watching the event.
Maria had already told them about his departure and has also told them to control themselves and act like professional maids as she doesn't want them to give any hints about the fact that he is close to all of them. The maids were doing a good job as they were looking at him calmly.
Cassian got on the carriage after the luggage was put on it before Caitlin followed as she sat opposite to him before the door was closed. The two looked out of it as the maids looked at them and fought their urge to wish them a good journey.
Cassian also spotted Alicia looking at him from one of the windows. She just looked at him with a smug face as he looked unamused by it. He looked at the maids and then gave a small smile which caused them to smile as they controlled themselves.
Then they soon left the mansion and went on their way to the territory of the Arundell family and it would take three days to reach there by carriage.
"Um Master, who is your fiance if I might ask?" Caitlin asked him curiously as she didn't know about it.
"My fiance is the second daughter of the head of the Arundell family, Leah Arundell." Cassian said to her as he looked out the carriage.
"What kind of person is she?" Caitlin asked again.
"I have no idea." Cassian said to her with a shrug.
"You don't?" Caitlin asked surprised.
"Yeah. This is the nature of arranged marriages between two families. We don't even know who our betrothed are other than the fact that they are nobility, and their names and status." Cassian said to her as he listed the three as he showed three of his fingers to her.
"I-I see. I mean, I knew about it but I thought that the nobles knew more about it." Caitlin said to him surprised.
"Not surprised. But it depends on what type of family it is as well. And my family isn't exactly ideal for that." Cassian said to her with a shrug.
"I see. Master Cassian, what do you plan to do when you get there." Caitlin asked him after that.
"That is something that you don't have to concern with. If I want to tell you I will." Cassian said as he looked outside.
"As you say Master." Caitlin said as she nodded to him.
After that the two were silent as they sat in the carriage. It was silent for a few minutes as they both stayed silent. After some moments Cassian looked at Caitlin as she is also looking outside, but she would occasionally glance at him, something that he had picked up a long time back.
"Come sit here." Cassian said as he gestured to beside him.
Caitlin was surprised at his words but she nodded and came to him and sat beside him on his right side as she felt happy about it. Then he wrapped his right arm around her and as she stiffened from it. She expected him to do something to her, but was surprised that he didn't.
He then started to rub her head as she liked the feeling and smiled as she enjoyed it. Cassian glanced at her and saw that she is happy as he smiled slightly before he looked out the carriage.
'I have no idea what kind of a person Leah is, but I have a week to stay with her family and I can formulate a plan about it. Hmm, maybe that mind control magic will work.' Cassian thought to himself as he thought about a plan.
He had managed to find a spell for mind control in one of the many books in the library, something which he made sure to learn as it would be very helpful. His Pheromone Control skill is good but in the off chance that it might not be enough having the ability to take control of his targets mind would be very helpful to him.
'But then again, the time I have is limited to one week and doing something suspicious in the mansion would not be a good thing. Hmm, but what if Leah herself would be attracted to me?' Cassian thought to himself as the thought crossed his mind.
He thought about it and decided that it would be a good course of action. On the chance that she would be always monitored while he is in the mansion using his pheromones might not be the best choice. If any of the people in the mansion were to feel strange then it might alert them about something bad happening.
He then remembered the Charm spell that he learned as a smile appeared on his face. Due to the fact that he can control his pheromones he initially thought he wouldn't need it. But he decided to learn it in case something happened where he wouldn't be able to use his pheromones as effectively.
'Good thing I decided to learn it. It will be a good chance.' Cassian thought to himself as he rubbed his maids head.
Caitlin smiled as she felt his hand on her head. But then she grew confused when he stopped rubbing her head as she looked at him. But then she was surprised when he brought his hand down and started to grope her breast causing her to jolt from the sensation as she felt herself blush.
She enjoyed the feeling of her Master touching her as she loved it very much. She was also feeling lucky due to the fact that she was chosen to go with him and thanked fate for giving her the opportunity to be with her Master.
'Maybe Caitlin can be of use in this as well.' Cassian thought to himself as he smiled.
