Thrud then went back to Loki and fought for her people. Loki managed to beat her since he was obviously more skilled than her. Thrud didn't give up though, she tried her best to fight but even with the spear, she failed. Loki mocked her ineptitude as well as that of her ancestors. This angered Thrud a lot making her manifest her true power as the goddess of Agriculture.
Loki couldn't stand a chance against her, especially with the help of Gungnir. Loki was blast to death and peace was restored back on Asgard.
