The weather was calmant and the morning breeze was calming. I have to wake up now to prepare for college.
My name is Emily McCloud. And I am 16 years old. I attend Bristtony College in America. I live with my aunt (Maddie) and her daughter (Raynell).
I and Raynell are best friends. We do almost everything together. We also attend the same college. Raynell is the same age as I, only that she's months older.
Having gotten up from bed, I walk up to Raynell's room and knock at the door.
" Raynell..... it's 6:00am already, ain't you going to college". I asked kinda tired.
Raynell gives me a tired moan.
" Raynell!!!! " I called out this time louder. Raynell sluggishly and reluctantly unlocks the door. I couldn't help but laugh at how distressed she was.
"it's late, let's go prepare for college. Don't wanna go late." I said as I walked out to my room pulling off my night gown and wearing my bathrobe, I swiftly enter into the bathtub and had a nice hot shower.
After shower, I chose simple clothes, that is, a white tank top and Jean trousers with white sneakers and put them on... ready to take off!.
"Raynell!!.... Let's go!!" I yelled.
"One minute ". Raynell says from her room. After about three minutes, she was out.
" you'll make us go late today Raynell" I said as I grabbed my backpack.
———————— AT SCHOOL———————
It's the beginning of the week and students were busy adapting to their environment.
I accidentally bumped into one of my friends.
"Hey Chelsea!" I yelled.
"Hi Emily". Chelsea said.
" How was your weekend?" I asked.
"It was nice and your's?"
"It was exquisite."
"Good. See you later." Chelsea says as Raynell walks up to me.
"Hey sis, Let's go check out the school's new water slide." Raynell says excitedly. I agreed and we hurried to the play ground. The slide was magnificent and best of all it's color is my favourite, ROYAL BLUE.
"Come , let's go check it out." Raynell said .
"Nope. I don't want to get all wet. Maybe next time." I said as I swiftly returned to the hall. The bell for classes went on and the students retired to their classes.
After few minutes of waiting in the class, a blonde haired male walked majestically into the class. He could be a teacher.
"Good day students. I'm your new history teacher, well a substitute by the way. I'll stay here until your teacher, Mr Gregory recovers. My name is Raynod" The middle age man said while we listened with a very closed attention.
" Let's start the business for today....". Raynod said as he retired to the whiteboard.
————————After school.( at home)—————
"Can't wait for tomorrow." I said excited.
" Why ?" Raynell asked placing her phone on the side stool.
"tomorrow I'll be visiting the Bristtony lab." I said happily.
"Why's that a big deal?" Raynell asked as a matter of fact.
" That lab contains everything you need to know about science. And I was posted there". I said.
"oh yeah!!. Jace was also posted there." Raynell said and my mood changes.
"Why the mood?" Raynell asks.
"That boy is a perv, a flirt and a Casanova." I said disgusted.
To tell you the truth, I've never had a crush. I dislike all boys. They all are the same. And this Jace is another thing. He won't allow me focus in class with all his love messages he sends to me. But I just let them roll off my back. Well, unfortunately for me I'll have to be with him all day in the lab. Gosh, what will it be like.
———————THE NEXT DAY——————
All students posted at the lab were all busy absorbing the lab. Everything seemed okay for me, well not until Jace suddenly emerges. He walks up to me and gives me a perverted smile.
"Hi Emily." He said.
"Get lost Jace." I said abruptly.
"I see you were posted here, alright."
All he said made me wanna spank him so hard.
I just hoped for the research to be over so I can leave his sight.
Through out the class, Jace never stopped glaring at me.

Finally!, I'm out of the lab. Looking for Raynell now. Hopefully, I sighted her talking with Bryan.
"Hey Raynell!" I called out as I ran up to her.
"Emily how've your day in the lab been?" Raynell said shifting her attention to Emily.
"Don't wanna talk about it." I said as I realized that Bryan was standing beside Raynell.
"Hey Bry!" I greeted with a wide grin.
" Hi Emily, how've you been?" Bry asked returning the warm gesture.
"like I said, don't wanna talk about it." I said giving an awkward laughter. Then i focused my attention on Raynell.
"Let's go home already. I've got enough for today." I said as I grabbed Raynell's wrist and dragged her along with me.
—————————AT HOME ———————
"You still haven't told me what bothered you at the lab." Raynell said as she flunged herself on the couch.
"It was that stupid boy, Jace." I said exhausted.
Raynell seemed to show much interest.
"Yeah , what about him?" She asked with keen interest.
" He couldn't stop pestering me today in the lab." I said disgusted.
"So...." Raynell said.
"I don't like boys Raynell. at least you of all people should know that. Especially not Jace." I said as I went up to my room, removed my clothes, wore my bathrobe and entered the bathroom. Aunt wasn't home, so I could sing to my heart content. Because aunt don't allow me sing anywhere around the house. Reasons best known to her.
After shower, I wore a short black gown and went over to Raynell's room.
"Yo. Raynell" I said as I flunged myself on her bed. Raynell was listening to one of her music by Ariana grande "7 Rings."
" Emily, come I have something to tell you." Raynell said dragging me closer to herself.
"Yes!!!" I said in anticipation.
"Dad's birthday's next 2 months and it's on a Saturday." Raynell said excitedly. I smiled happily.
"So we'll make preparations for the party and of course.... It's a surprise party." Raynell said as she increased the volume of the music and danced crazily according to the tempo, rhythm, and beat. As she was dancing we heard the door bell. Seems like aunt's home. I walked downstairs and up to the door and unlock it. Aunt didn't come alone, she came with a visitor (A tall,red haired lady in her early 40's.
"Good day ma'am" I greeted with a smile.
"How are you dear?" I said as I opened the door a little bit wider for them.
"Emily, where's Raynell?" Aunt Maddie asked.
"Upstairs in her room." I answered as I walked up to the dispenser and grabbed a chilled water to aunt. I went to Raynell's room and informed her of her mom's arrival and the nice lady.
"That must be aunt Clarabel" Raynell said as she went down to the living room. it was as she guessed.
"Aunt Clarabel!" Raynell said as she ran and embraced the lady. I was still confused because I've never seen the lady before.
"Raynell, you're all grown up." Clarabel said with a wide grin.
" Mum, you didn't tell me, aunt Clarabel was coming over." Raynell said to her mum.
"Wanted it to be a surprise." Maddie said with a smile. Noticing my gesture Raynell excused herself and took me to her room.
" What's up with ya?" She asked me.
"I don't know this lady. Who is she?" I asked.
"Okay. She's my mom's best friend. Her family lives in France." Raynell said.
" She has two children, a boy and a girl. The name of the girl is Prisma and the boy, Xavier." Raynell saids. This cools my anxiety.
"Then what could have made her come over?" I asked again.
"Dunno, let me go check out." Raynell says as she exited the room.
————————IN THE LIVING ROOM ——————
Raynell overhears Clarabel saying something about moving to America for a while l, just for Xavier to finish college. Reasons best known to her.
After much discussions, Clarabel went home l. Well not Paris, she was to go to the airport to pick her family.
Night drew closer, Raynell told me everything she knew about the lady, well she didn't mention her surname to me.
The girls talked about common things until finally their eyelids get heavy and they slept off.
