OMEGAVERSE

An alternate universe where humans, animals, and monsters are divided into three major ranks—alphas, betas, and omegas—with a dominance hierarchy where the higher ranks dominate the lower ones.

General Ranks

Alpha(s): The highest rank in society, low in number compared to others. They possess innate talents and special traits, such as superior strength and a heightened sense of smell, especially to omegas' pheromones.

*Male/female alphas can impregnate omegas.

Beta(s): The middle rank in society, commonly seen.

Omega(s): The lowest rank in society and the most oppressed, presently lower than alpha in number since they've been captured and enslaved. Betas and omegas are generally indistinguishable due to their similar traits.

*Male/female omegas can be pregnant from sexual intercourse with alphas.

Omegas go into 'heat,' the period their pheromones are released, stimulating alphas inhaling the scents to mate with them. Since alphas may lose control due to the potent odors, omegas need to take suppressants to reduce them.

Special Ranks (Rarely Found)

Enigma(s): The pure-blood type. Their bodies and senses are sharper than those of other ranks, so their talents are immeasurable. They appear similar to alphas. Enigmas can transform omegas into alphas with their bites, and omegas bitten by enigmas will receive special talents from them.

Nebula(s): The pure-blood type. While omegas are the lowest in society, nebulas—the mutants—belong to the lowest level of the food chain. Nebulas' pheromones are ten times more powerful than omegas'.

Nebulas possess healing powers that differ in individuals, leading to them getting hunted down to the point of being endangered. Nebulas presently hide from society for their own safety.

Heat: The period in heat or when sexually active. This state happens to 'omegas' and lower ranks only.

Rut: The period in rut or when sexually active. This state happens to 'alphas' and higher ranks only.

Knot: This only occurs to 'alphas' and higher ranks. Their sexual organs will expand and lock themselves in their mates' vaginas or anuses, a natural mechanism increasing the likelihood of pregnancy. While the sexual organs are locked, alphas will emit semen periodically without being able to pull them out until they soften.

Naturally, alphas only knot when having sexual intercourse with omegas in heat. However, they may knot without the omegas being in heat if they are significantly compatible.

Notes

- Betas, only females, have a 0.0007% chance of pregnancy.

- Alphas and higher ranks can impregnate male and female omegas.

- Alphas and higher ranks can bond with omegas by biting their lower necks. Bitten omegas can't mate with anyone else.

- Bitten omegas essentially can't break the bond. There is, however, an innovation in the present time to 'remove the bond,' which has a 90% risk of the omegas' death.
