Chapter 1 - Ch- 1:A New journey

In the quiet bedroom of Pallet Town, the boy who had woken up with a start was not Ash Ketchum but a 16-year-old named Marcus. With an extensive knowledge of the Pokémon world from years of watching the anime and playing the games, he found himself in a surreal situation.

Confusion enveloped him as he sat up in an unfamiliar bunk bed, surrounded by vibrant Pokémon posters and merchandise. The room resembled a real-life Pokémon Center, raising questions about his reality.

"Where am I?" Marcus muttered, attempting to stand. A sudden fall to the floor caused him to yelp in pain, though curiously, his nose was undamaged despite the impact. It was as if the world operated by a unique set of rules.

"This doesn't make any sense. I must be dreaming," Marcus thought. But this dream felt vivid and tangible, unlike any he'd experienced before.

Footsteps approached, and the door creaked open, revealing a woman who addressed him as Ash. The name Ash sent shivers down Marcus's spine. He was living inside a Pokémon episode, and it felt incredibly real.

After she left, Marcus decided to explore this mysterious world, which was not quite the Pokémon universe he had known. Pallet Town held an enigmatic aura, with tales of unexplained disappearances. He recalled episodes where Team Rocket caused trouble in what seemed like a peaceful town.

As he ventured forth, Marcus's vast Pokémon knowledge became his guiding light. He encountered wild Pokémon, applying his understanding of type matchups and abilities to navigate this new reality. When a wild Rattata appeared, he recognized it as a Normal-type Pokémon, susceptible to Fighting-type moves. If only he had some Poké Balls to try to catch it.

His journey led him to Professor Oak's lab, where he found eager Trainers selecting their starter Pokémon. Regrettably, he had overslept, fearing he had missed his opportunity.

Determined not to give up, Marcus watched Gary, a familiar rival from the anime, exit the lab with his chosen starter Pokémon, boasting about it. This only fueled Marcus's resolve.

Inside the lab, Professor Oak presented a challenging option to Marcus. He reached for a mysterious Poké Ball, cautioning that this Pokémon was difficult to tame. Unfazed, Marcus was ready for the adventure of a lifetime.

The chosen Poké Ball revealed Pikachu, the iconic Electric-type Pokémon. Marcus couldn't contain his excitement. He was aware that Pikachu was renowned for its powerful Electric-type moves.

But he had overlooked one critical detail. Pikachu, much like in the early episodes of the anime, was known for its spirited and headstrong nature.

Marcus extended his hand toward Pikachu, who responded with a scowl and crackling electricity around its cheeks. Without warning, Pikachu released a powerful jolt of electricity, shocking both Marcus and Professor Oak.

In the midst of sparks, Marcus realized he was not Ash, and this Pikachu might not readily accept him as its Trainer due to their differing personalities.

He knelt down to Pikachu, addressing the Pokémon directly. "Pikachu, it's clear you may not want a Trainer or to be my Pokémon, right?"

Pikachu replied with a skeptical "pika pi."

Determined to build a unique bond, Marcus proposed a deal to Pikachu, suggesting they work together to catch some Pokémon before reaching Viridian City, at which point he'd release Pikachu.

Although Pikachu initially feigned disinterest, Marcus sensed the Pokémon's underlying agreement.

With a goal in mind, Marcus knew he had to earn Pikachu's trust before reaching Viridian City. He remembered that Pikachu had a fondness for ketchup, which sparked an idea. He would make every effort to show Pikachu that they could be an exceptional team.

Before they embarked on their journey, Marcus couldn't help but reach for his Pokedex. Curiosity got the best of him, and he pointed the device at the wild Rattata he had encountered earlier. The screen of the Pokedex displayed the following information:

**Rattata [M]**

- Type: Normal

- Weakness: Fighting

- Ability: Run Away

- Behaviour: Quick Tempered

Moves:

- Tackle (Basic)

- Tail Whip (Basic)

As Marcus examined the Pokedex, he couldn't help but notice an unfamiliar feature: a slot for inserting the Pokécard. He knew this was not something from the anime or the games he had played. With a sense of intrigue, he took out his Pokécard and carefully inserted it into the Pokedex.

To his astonishment, the Pokedex displayed a balance of 500 Pokédollars linked to his account. It was a whole new dimension to Pokémon training he hadn't encountered before. It allowed trainers to bet on battles and settle wagers using the digital currency. It was an innovation that added a thrilling element of competition to the world of Pokémon.

Marcus's mind raced with possibilities. This new feature meant he could earn Pokédollars by battling other trainers and winning. It was a concept he was unfamiliar with, a far cry from the days of Ash Ketchum in the anime.

As he continued to explore the Pokedex, he realized something even more intriguing. Some Pokémon he knew, like Nidoking and Nidoqueen, were not listed. Even more surprisingly, he found out that some forms of evolution of pokemon were unknown till now and also their whole move set of pokemon like garadose can learn flame thrower and so on. It was a treasure trove of uncharted knowledge.

A sly smile crossed Marcus's face. He realized that if he could monopolize this information, he could gain a significant advantage in his journey. He could potentially become the go-to source for knowledge about these unregistered Pokémon forms, forging alliances and trades with fellow trainers seeking these unique discoveries.

With newfound determination, Marcus decided that he would uncover the secrets behind these uncharted Pokémon forms, making it his mission to master this groundbreaking technology and capitalize on it in his quest to become a Pokémon Master.

Professor Oak's lab had become a place of transformation for Marcus, who was now embarking on a journey filled with unprecedented opportunities and mysteries to unravel. With Pikachu by his side, and the allure of uncharted Pokémon knowledge, his adventure had taken a thrilling and unexpected turn.
