It was 6 o'clock morning, Parth woke up before ringing of the alarm. He was little frustrated. He couldn't leave the competition at this point and his grandpa was angry at him for playing. He had no idea what to do now. He had no option but to play. He dragged his chair in the balcony, took his book and started reading.
He thought, " from monday, after the competition, i'll focus only on my study. No playing game nothing afterwards till the final exam. Anyhow i have yo get the scholarship and get admission in that college. "
"What a surprise? How did you wake up without us waking you up? " Lily said when she found him waken up and studying so early morning.
" No, need to surprise. I'm damm serious to my study. "Parth said.
" Ohho.. is it so? " She winked her eye and said, " anyways, who is Isla? "
" Friend "Parth said without looking at her.
" Only friend? " Lily smiled
" Yeah, O.N.l.Y.friend.did you get it? " Parth got annoyed.
" I was just teasing you but i won't mind if she would be more than just friend. "She said and started laughing, " she is really sweet and beautiful too. "
Parth looked into Isla's compound, Ryan was there walking in the garden, holding Rocky's chain. He kept staring at him without listening Lily.
Lily shook his shoulder and said, " am i talking to a ghost? Why are you not saying anything? "
" I already told you, she is just friend and please let me study otherwise... " Parth got irritated now.
" Otherwise, what? " Lily said.
He looked downstairs in his courtyard and shouted, " Pa, see her. She is disturbing me. "
" Okay, okay.. i'm going. I'll see you later. " Lily said and walked downstairs immediately.
Parth looked at Ryan. He was still there walking in the garden. He patted Rocky's head and let him run in the compound freely. He took out his phone and got busy in talking.
" Who called him early morning? May be that girl who was trying to kiss him. I think she must be his girlfriend," Parth thought and tried to listen what he was talking but he couldn't listen anything, just watching him smiling like an idiot and laughing sometime.
While talking on his phone, he stepped inside and came in his balcony. Now, Parth could listen him clearly.
" Of course, you are coming otherwise, i won't talk to you. "Ryan said and sulked for a moment.
Parth was looking at him but not directly. While talking on phone Ryan ran into Parth's face, he looked at him scornfully.
" The party is at my building itself. " Ryan said on the phone.
" Party? For what? " he thought.
Isla came into the compound. She saw Parth in the balcony. She said, " Parth, good morning. "
Parth looked at Ryan's face. He didn't understand what to do now? If he would reply then Ryan would get angry. So, he didn't reply her, he smiled and went inside.
It was about to 7:30 a.m, he got ready for the school. After getting ready, he came downstairs. He looked at his grandpa.
" Good morning Pa, good morning grandma. " he said slowly but Pa didn't reply him.
" Good morning Smiley.. my son. " grandma said and smiled looking at him and alluded him not to worry.
Grandpa finished his tea and stepped out for thr morning walk.
" Don't worry, you focus on your practice only. I have already talked to him. " grandma said.
Parth shook his head. He finished his breakfast and walked out.

It was break time, Parth, Eva, Darsh and Isla were talking and joking around, teasing one another.
" Listen guys, this coming Saturday, there is party in my house. So, you guys are coming there. " Isla chirped.
" Party? "For what? " Darsh said.
" It's my birthday. " Isla said and smiled.
" Ohh.. wow. " Darsh said happily.
" So, you all have to reach there sharply at 7 p.m."
" But next day, we have the competition of the basketball. " Parth said.
" Then..? "
" Nothing.. we'll surely come. " Darsh said in between.
" Eva.. you must come. " Isla looked at her and said.
" Okay. I'll try. " She said.
Parth was thinking what to do now. Isla understood his hesitation and said, " you're my friend and you're going to attend your friend's birthday. So, don't bother about others. and if it's about competition then i believe you guys are going to win this for sure.".She gave a smile to them.
Bell rang and they moved to their seat.
" Darsh, i don't understand what to do now? "Parth said., " You know his brother how he is. He will never like to see me in her birthday party and if i don't go then Isla will get angry. "
" Don't think too much about him. I and Eva will be there too with you. We'll just attend the party till she cut the cake and then get back to our home. " Darsh assured him.
He said further, " and there is already holiday on Saturday, so from morning till afternoon we' ll practice basketball. Don't bother about the competition. "
After school, Eva got inside the school bus and Isla also went to her car waiting at the school entrance.
Parth and Darsh moved towards school playground.
"Today, i'll not play more than an hour. Yesterday, i got late and grandpa got angry and scolded me. I know he is worried about my future that's why he scolds but this competition is also my dream-like. " Parth said, " Anyhow i have to win this match. It's golden opportunity for me to meet my idol, world's best player of the basketball. "
Darsh patted his back and said, " Don't worry. We'll surely win this match. " and smiled.
After practicing an hour, Parth returned home.
