Chapter 14 - Anticipated Call

Lellouch was at loss of words. Its kinda odd that she has been traveling lately yet she doesn't have anything to bring. Just the clothes she wears - a signature dress that is mid thigh of length. Still, she hasn't get used to this. She missed her shirts and jeans.

"Are you ready?" Alejandro asked from behind here looking at her reflection from the mirror she was facing. "I must say, stilletos suit better for that little feet of yours instead of a pair of sneakers.

"If you only have jeans and shirt on that closet of yours that would definitely fit on me, why would I wear such a dress?" Lellouch answered sarcastically.

Alejandro smirked, "Well, suits you better." he said before pulling her hand towards the grand stairs. It was quiet long that it took them a minute before reaching the bottom where the butler awaits. He maid gesture that shows respect to both Alejandro and Lellouch.

"The chauffeur is waiting, Young Master." He uttered.

Alejandro noded and approached the door, then she noticed Lellouch wasn't behind him. He turned and watch her looking at him. "Are you alright?" He asked.

"I don't know. I'm feeling something not good. My chest is pounding." She responded honestly.

He was about to ask her more when suddenly, his phone ring.

"Old man? Too excited to see your granddaughter?" He teased the man on the other line.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Call me grandpa! " Magnus Grand shouted that almost broken his eardrum.

"Yes, yes, grandpa! Your too loud." Alejandro laughed.

"Seriously, son. I found the Research Facilitation. That muct be the one." Magnus said.

Alejandro tense after hearing this. This was a big news. They knew all along that even at this moment Fabian or Marcus have been hold captives by the enemy. The old man had this investigated. Unfortunately everytime they found one, they're too late to rescue them.

"Then we have to get there on time." Alejandro answered in serious manner.

"I knew you'd say that. One more thing. Change your flight. You better take a commercial flight for now. The Martins are at work." Magnus warned him.

"Jose Martin is so good at hiding your son." Alejandro smirked.

"He won't be able to kill him. They will continue to experiment on him until they make him qualified as a sacrificed. Now that they're after my granddaughter, that only means they are not succeeding. Yet, they won't finish him until they have another of the same blood." Magnus explains the probable reason why Fabian might still be alive.

"I believe you, Old Man." Alejandro said honestly.

"You do? " Magnus asked him with uncertainty. "When did you start believing me when you always follow what I say without believing my reason behind my decisions? " Alejandro smiled. He knew the old smirk upon asking.

Alejandro glance at Lellouch who was standing at the veranda, looking at the city shining beneath the mansion. "I don't think that's a good idea. I don't want innocent people to get involved in case something might happened.

" Just be careful. Send my granddaughter safe in my arms. " Magnus sighing can be heard from the other line.

"I will. " Alejandro responded before ending the call. He move closer to Lellouch and grabbee her waist from behind.

Lellouch tensed. "H-hey! What are you doing?" She uttered while trying to break free.

He turned her towards his body and now they're too close to each other. There is ni scape for Lellouch since he trapped her on the railings of the veranda. She frowned looking at herself.

"Just this time, i need you to promise me" Lellouch stopped and staired at Alejandro who looked straight to her eyes. She clasped her hand to her chest, trying to suppress the anxiousness she's feeling at the moment. "Whatever it takes, just trust me"

Lellouch was confused. She doesn't understand the meaning behind those words. Unconsciously, she nodded.

"Just hold my hand, I will protect you at all cost." Alejandro added and he pulled her out of the mansion. "I'll drive. " He ordered and the chauffeur give him the key. They drove away immediately.

"Seriously, son." Magnus voice was firm. "I found the Research Facilitation. That must be the one."

Alejandro tense after hearing this. This was a big news! They knew all along that even at this moment Fabian and Marcus have been held captives by the enemy. The old man had this investigated. Unfortunately everytime they found one, they're too late to rescue them. All was left were the bodies of doctors that were masacred - probably to silenced them.

"Then we have to get there on time." Alejandro answered in serious manner.

"I knew you'd say that. One more thing. Change your flight. You better take a commercial flight for now. The Martins are at work." Magnus warned him.

He knew the Old Man smirk upon asking. He would always do that way when the Old Man tried to tell him many times before about the history of the uniqueness of their heritage. Their blood contains a certain energy that can make particles to react in a unique way. Their blood binds them to their ancestors according to him. As much as he want to more about the secrets of it, his knowledge was limited.

At a young age, Magnus knew nothing about his ancestors. It was only on his father's death bed that the truth was revealed about his blood heritage. He knew his father was kidnap at the young age and was brought to the cellar as a sacrifice - that is to open a certain gate. Yet it was interrupted when a group of Mafia came and rescued him. That was the family of his father's mother. Since then, the entrance to the cellar was redirected and was protected by the Go Family for centuries.

It was a mystery before why their kind has a unique body. It heals on its own. The only way that could interrup the potential of their being, is a blood transfusion. To which, it disrupts the capabilities of their blood to heal the body and maintain it in good condition. It is like a poison that slowly destroy the production of blood cells and create an obstacle in the respiratory system of anyone on their kind. This is the reason why his parents died in his arms.

"I told you, I believe you." He said sincerely.

"You better should, Young Man or else my granddaughter will be endanger. Now listen to what I say, you must take a commercial flight. "

Alejandro glance at Lellouch who was standing at the veranda, looking at the city shining beneath the mansion. "I don't think that's a good idea. I don't want innocent people to get involved in case something might happened.

Alejandro looked at her intently. "Just this time, I need you to promise me" Lellouch stopped and staired at Alejandro who looked straight to her eyes. She clasped her hand to her chest, trying to suppress the anxiousness she's been feeling at the moment. "Whatever it takes, just trust me"

Lellouch was confused. She doesn't understand the meaning behind those words. Unconsciously, she nodded.

"Just hold my hand, I will protect you at all cost." Alejandro added and he pulled her out of the mansion. Upon reaching the foyer, he ordered, "I'll drive. " The chauffeur give him the key immediately.

They drove away into a secluded houseware and went inside a huge workshop area. When Alejandro turned the lights on, Supersonic Plane appeared in front of them.
