"Here you go."
With tears brimming in his eyes, he looked at his husband, who hadn't even met his gaze but checked his sign on the divorce paper first.
"Good boy," his husband complimented, offering a lovely smile as he unseated to leave the restaurant.
"Lingyun,"
He called out his name, wiping away his tears and making his expression normal. However, his reddish eyes unveiled his yearning for him.
"Hmm?" He paused for a second before taking steps further.
"Love You, Lingyun."
His voice was short of viscosity, causing Lingyun to blink emotionless for a moment. Nevertheless, he was vigorous enough not to beg him again for love.
Before Lingyun left him, he, himself, unseated, walked off from him. It was the moment when Lingyun was frozen. couldn't believe him leaving him like this, as if everything was done.
It all started at school. He chased after LingYun like a little puppy, clueless about giving up on love. Lingyun just agreed to marry him without a heart. Expectedly, he got bored with the same life routine of going to work and coming back home, and he also got bored with touching the same body over and over again.
Without love, it must be annoying for Lingyun to live with him.
Then what about the one who just signed the papers with tears?
He must have loved him with all of his heart; now he felt like his whole world had come to an end.
*Ring Ring*
The phone-ringing sound went from faint to loud. It was like reverberating inside that heartbroken man's head as he walked off the restaurant.
A person banged open his eyes and rubbed his forehead as the sunlight screeched his face skin to wrinkle. He was the same heartbroken boy from earlier, sitting up with a naked upper body and narrowing his sight at the clock showing 8:00 a.m.
It's been two years since he divorced his first husband. He overcame his suffering but couldn't stop the dream of his most heartbroken moment.
Phone Ringing sound creased. He then reached out for his phone and checked on the caller. The call was from his father.
He dialled back immediately. His dad picked him up.
"Yes, Papa."
"I have been trying to you for ten minutes. Where have you been in the early morning without a phone?" His father sounded angry with him.
"Pap-"
Before he pulled out his apology, his father overtook him. "I have arranged a blind date for you at my friend's restaurant. Be on time."
"Papa, I don't like girls. Tell her." He groused with a disinterested look on his face.
"I know, Yuxuan. I have already told your mother about that. But your fiance didn't seem to leave you that easily. That's why we have arranged a secret blind date for you."
Secret blind date? He asked himself, confused.
"With whom?"
"A man, his name... Oh, I forgot." His father thought for a second.
Zixin!
His mother shouted from the kitchen.
"Ahnn, Zixin, Zixin. His name was Zixin," he said.
Zixin? Yuxuan practiced that name.
"Yes, he was good-looking and gentlemanly. Even your mother drooled over him. I hope you will like him. Yunxuan, this is your chance to escape from your devilish fiancee. Stick to him," his father advised.
"What's his age?" Yuxuan asked.
"Mmmm... 27, two years older than you," his father replied.
"What about his photo?"
"Sorry, I don't have one. But my friend knows him. Go to the restaurant before 10:00 a.m."
"Okay," he said. His father hung up, and his lips curled into a gratifying smile.
"Did he agree?" Yuxuan's mother peeked out of the kitchen with curiosity overwhelming her face.
His father nodded delightfully.
The reason behind their extreme happiness is that it was the first time Yuxuan agreed to remarry a man after his divorce. Despite that, they acknowledged Yuxuan's unconcerned heart behind his endorsement. He just wants to escape from his fiancee, whom his grandpa badly wants to marry off to him.
They were all waiting to wind up his property, which was written to Yuxuan before his grandmother faced her death.
Yuxuan squeezed his eyes and flipped the blanket before getting off the bed.
Immediately, his eyes went wide upon seeing his whole naked body. He pulled the blanket covering his naked body quickly.
"What? Did I undress myself before going to bed? This is not my style."
He asked himself, even though he could hear his crazy heartbeat throbbing for an unnecessary thought that wasn't even possible to happen.
"Where did I go yesterday?" He gathered his memory of yesterday. Nothing illustrated something like he undressed himself and wasn't sure about where he was at yesterday night.
Did anyone approach me yesterday? He asked himself, hardly squeezing his brain to recollect his memory.
"No, not possible," he mumbled, convinced himself, and got off the bed nakedly. He directly headed to the restroom, which looked like a billionaire's hotel.
No doubt. It is! And this big, wonderful restaurant belongs to him. Only to him, not even to his mother or father.
