While the gardener was digging, Louise arrived flanked by Knorr, Hog and Fred. He had his hands in his pocket and his expression was as cold as ice.
His narrowed eyes stared at the mess that was made in the garden before moving to look at Sonya's messy hair and dirty clothes.
"Were you lying in the mud, or did you decide to check how a grave feels like?" He asked, his words dripping with dark humor.
Sonya's heart skipped a beat as she noticed his cold demeanor. She rubbed her dirty hand on her dress, and approached him.
"The place looked suspicious so I decided to dig it up. The gardener confirmed it that Bee helped him plant the flowers, she might have hidden something there," Sonya explained and stood a five feet away from him.
The air around him had changed from being warm and approachable to being cold and distant. She wasn't familiar with this side of him and it made her uncomfortable.
