Moreover, the power of the Xuanyuan Sword was relentless – wounds inflicted by it were professed to never fully heal.
Although such a statement might seem exaggerated, it was quite indicative of the terrible power of the Xuanyuan Sword – to recover from its wounds, the price to pay would be tremendous.
Even the Buddha, with all his might, could only manage to suppress his injuries, not heal them.
"I implore my fellow Dharma friends to use their divine abilities to restore the Great Thunderclap Temple. I have urgent matters and must head to Heaven Court."
After suppressing his injuries, the Buddha had a sudden, foreboding sense of dread. He knew that something was going amiss in Heaven Court, and the fate of the Buddhist door was issuing him a warning.
