What was Jiang Chen's greatest gain?
It wasn't the Innate White Jade, nor the few feathers. And certainly not the weapons of those little demons, either. Instead, it was the corpses of the Demon Clan that covered the entire island!
Why is that, you might ask?
The answer lies with Empress Nuwa.
Empress Nuwa held two treasures in her possession. One was the Innate Treasure, the Heaven and Earth cauldron, which had the power to refine Heaven and Earth and reverse innate conditions. The other was the top Innate Spiritual Treasure, the Demon Refining Pot.
Although it is called a Demon Refining Pot, what it refines is not just demons, but all spirits under Heaven and Earth. Any creature could be refined by it.
It's worth noting that Di Jun Taiyi's definition of a demon was any sentient being outside of the Witch Clan and Innate Divine Demons.
This reveals Di Jun's ambition. Unfortunately, he was never able to achieve this until his death.
